Aughhhhhhhhh noooooooooooo I feared somebody wouldn't get the joke!!! Really the only thing the LeGran needs is a stripped interior (why do most cars still not have a stripped interior anyways?)
Sorry about that. And yeah, I'm not sure why the LeGran doesn't have that yet - it might be because it'd require a fair bit of remodelling. (Honestly, I'm not sure why it didn't get a stripped interior in its remaster - the FCV showed off a stripped interior three updates before it, so it wasn't like the LeGran would've been first to that.)
Me and devs had the same thought with that armored truck - for sure mentioned it in this thread. Looking forward to it Edit: To make a bank truck to spec, the steel would have some degree of bulletproofing (rating is dependent on needs/ threat level), as would the windows. Run flats are typical as well. Very interested to see how the devs will tackle this and how resistant the armor will be. Just a reminder that a car flying into the side of it at 100+ mph is way more destructive than a bullet.
why would you need cross-view mirrors (mirrors mounted on the hood) on an armored truck? I've always thought that you could only find them on school buses...
I had never seen a US bank armored truck before, they're really different to those I'm used to see, Turns out there's quite a variety of them around the world, depending on available manufacturers! I can already see the new scenarios where you ram it to open it before the police arrive, or having to escort it and protect it from rammers as a cop. Also imagine doing valuables transport in career mode and having to worry about potential highly motivated robbers
The problem is we don't have official content/ mod to simulate bullet effects on doors, glasses and tires The "Player Waepon mod" does have guns that cause damage, but the damage is a crumpled iron/ glass, instead of a hole on the door. Aiso the effect is very hard to achieve and causes a lot of computer performance suppose
You don't really have to have bullets to test if it's bulletproof. You know, bulletproof glass is pretty damn thick, so you'd expect it to break in a different way than the usual. Same goes for other body panels, and as for the tires, it's just a matter of sidewall stiffness tbf.
