Update Speculation thread

Reminds me of myself a year ago, when it was also September. I was also looking forward to the update, just like now ...It is hard to imagine that the updated simple traffic vehicles at that time have become a common thing after one year.

 

I know, right? I remember being super excited about the new car that was added (Cherrier Vivace). In my mind, it's still fresh, but it was actually already 5 years ago.

 

i think i started playing just after the vivace update
but i remember clearly my excitement for the Wendover addition and legran remaster

or a friday update drop

 

I actually haven't started playing until the Scintilla update. I've been following the game and even had it purchased on Steam a long time prior, but only after I got my Steam Deck was I able to actually run it.

 

my old laptop just barely managed to run beamng if i used the lowest settings

 

Today is Thursday, maybe we'll see an update tomorrow

 

Haha, the laptop I had at the time was way too underpowered to even launch the game. I have however played the ancient demo on my old desktop (which later kinda caught on fire (not related to the game)). I've been on board ever since that very first soft body showcase video.

I was actually thinking of typing the Stambecco but the small width made me steer clear. But yes, the ambulance box upfit could at least be also used as a camper! Not to mention that the standard 6x6 body has enough space by itself to be turned into a small camper too!

That is fair enough - however, I think if it was delayed, the devs would probably wait until next week (if not later). That would give them more time to sort out issues before release, and it also would give the creators more time to make their videos.

As for a Friday release, that's extremely unlikely. The last Friday release was 0.17, which was more than six years ago. I think it's safe to assume that the update won't drop this week. Which is probably for the best, as Silksong dropped today, and having a Beam update drop around the same time as that probably wouldn't be good for sales.

No teaser Thursday, update could maybe possibly be today perhaps?

 

its past their usual time for releasing updates so prob not

 

It's a teaser from last year, and I didn't understand at all why there were only cars parked at that time.
