Update Speculation thread

What about he ui maximum resolution?

 

its like I gained a whole GHZ or 3 on the ui

but if you have it at 1080p or something like that it would make no sense

 

that's for people running the game at like 1440p (or 4k)
But how? Torque 3D is not that optimised, you'd need a supercomputer

 

Do you absolutely need a list of cars that they have only THOUGHT about?

Also, I don't even go by the concept list for speculation. I am just trying to help someone out!

 

Ok then. I guess I have to explain what it is...

@Evan.demets , the concept list is a list of names and years of cars that the devs have CONSIDERED making. There is no proof that all the vehicles on said list will be released, and I say that most of them will not appear at all. Please keep that in mind.

 

Let's get back to speculation and forget about the concept list. I apologize to everyone, I made a very stupid mistake.

 

Oh...oh, my gosh. Now that we know these vehicles were sketched and planned (but not promised), trying to predict what the next car will be, as of right now, is like trying to find a needle in 100 haystacks. But honestly, I'm starting to think that we may not even get a vehicle at all (and if we do, it'll likely be revealed the same way that the LeGran was). However, I know that quite a few members of the community (mostly those who didn't have to put up with the pre-race update) will be highly annoyed going two major updates and 6 months without a new car to play with.

 

A lot of vets (I'm not one of those) will remember sometime around 2014 where there was about a year without anything. I also don't believe that the Bluebuck will be in the next update but we will see new configs for already existing vehicles, nitro (since its practically done).

 

Yeah, if there was to be a new car in the next update, a LeGran or even K-series reveal is all we'd get.

Unless, of course, the update is a lot farther away than we think.

I think the new surprise car should be a minivan or a convertible.

also when they add wcusa to beamng they should maybe take a building from the ETK map so it has like a dealership

where did the rumour for the pictures come from and is their any proof besides words "pictures of the drawings"

 

I found an old (January of 2014) post where Gabester mentioned that a '70s luxury coupe, a '70s police-type sedan, an '80s station wagon, and an '80s minivan had all been planned and sketched. You can check out the post for yourself here.

Of the four, only the '70s luxury coupe was ever revealed in sketch form. You can view it here.

 

With some of his earlier posts, I have some hope for the Albatross, Fulmine, Charmand, and the others like the 80's wagon and minivan. It sounded like he talked about them like they were actually going to happen, just that it was going to be a while before it was their time to see the light of day.

 

I'm looking for an old video clip of B25mitch driving around an old version of his WCUSA race track in a Sunburst with hill climb parts (around the time word of hill climb variants came out). Anyone still have the link?

 

Since I joined in October of 2014, I wasn't aware of this information. This strikes me as very interesting. I would love to see all of these things... especially the wagon and minivan. We already have the '70s police car-ish thing; the Moonhawk... and I do like the Moonhawk very much.

 

The moonhawk is quite far away from a police car as it has only 2 doors so you wont be able to put any criminals in the back
