Since we're digging up a lot of old dev statements, I found this in the Gavril T-Series thread. Of the upfits listed, all of them have already happened except one: the tow truck upfit. This could mean that there may be a T-Series tow truck upfit after the D-Series tow truck has been released, considering that the basic functionality of both upfits would already have been made, thus simplifying the process of creating more tow trucks. How long the T-Series tow truck upfit will have to wait after the D-Series tow truck....I'm not sure.
Yes their will some old photos had it and back 100 or so pages a guy found the signs in a file on beaming
It would be cool if they'smd implement props as a part of the map with an ability to tesermt the map, as small props like signs and light poles aren't making the game run much worse as I can spawn about 40 of them before the game crashes because of me spawning too many of them at the same time...
Well the biggest problem with this idea is the resting of the props without reloading the map. Also some peoples computers might struggle with more then 20 props so you would need 2 maps. 1 with props 1 without for those people.
Maybe they could include a switch to switch between jbeamed props and stationary ones into the screen where you select the spawnpoint?
First, they need improve loadings. Every time when you want change quick race on the same map game reloading map.
Well understandable, Forza has alot more to load on a map compared to BeamNG. Plus you are talking about console loading times here, off a DVD vs an SSD or HDD which are a good bit faster. Loading times have always been really pretty awful for me even on an SSD.
Normal if you want change race from Utah to Small Island. Where is the point to reload whole map for only few props and waypoints? BTW you mention Forza 7. I'll mention Dirt Rally where logos at the start are longer than loading track.
Probably a dumb question, but will NOS affect FFB? For example, there's a test setting in my Thrustmaster's settings that plays a NOS injection's FFB. Will it be like that?
Injecting NO2 would not change anything in the driving felling. Only thing it does is increase horsepower. If this increase will cause the wheels to spin you will feel it. It will basically feel the same as the turbo kicking in
I just noticed the Hopper has a race 6 speed manual... That's peculiar. It also has an option for intake with only one option: carbureted (not really unusual or not known about, just figured I would mention it while I'm on the topic).
The intake thing seems to be just a detail. + the race 6 speed is meant to be just a custom transmission, so you can have an ultra low 1st gear for crazy crawling abilities.
I hate games here the No2 is freaking turbo rockets... BeamNG.drive is a game where reality is the main priority... mostly
Yeah, like in the new mad max game, you can literally fly with it, because the power is put through magical thrusters rather than to the wheels.
