Update Speculation thread

It'll likely be added in the next update, it had a lot of progress on it from such short time.

ETK's 2400i, new editor features, (possibly) working BeamNavigator GPS and (possibly) brake thermals might get added, too.

 

Beamng has been adding hints to updates for a while

Example: look on the rally pessima skin above the number 3
It says Utah rally
And was released 2 or 3 updates before Utah

So if you want hints on updates to get theories, pay close attention to little details. Fit the puzzle pieces together.

Look closely at new items, hold your magnifying glass to dev screenshots
Remember about a month or two ago Gabester released a dev photo and there was a faint station wagon in the backround.

And then the ETK 800 came out.
It's like one of those games where you find clues and piece together the future.
The secrets are out there, waiting for you

in fairness though, utah was first teased almost a year ago

 

I dunno, just look around at the little things, things that don't stand out, or blend in.
Those are what hold the key

then again, the only thing that told us that Utah was coming out soon was the pessima rally skin

 

And the devblogs about Utah, the teaser image of Utah, the artwork...

 

Then again, how long was the artwork for the miramar out? A while, huh.
The teasers for the ETK 2400i? Since March

It appears to all be random wether something will be out or not.
We are all trying to look for patterns to see what will be out soon.
But that is not the the way.

 

I just remembered the upcoming, long awaited blogpost teased in the "something is on the horizon" post. I almost want that more than any other update. Its been months, almost half a year so there has to be some sort f progress.

 

I hope the ETK 2400i will be released, the Ambulance, All thermal simulations working, Working BeamNavigator/ SBR4/Sunburst GPS Skins, UV Maps for the Piegon and the Miramar and a ETK 800 Roll Cage (and maybe a Rally/Race Skin)

 

The something is on the horizon was the Utah map

 

Yes it was, but it was also advertising an upcoming blogpost about the past and future of Beamng GMBH and the direction they wanted to take the game. Tdev first said something about it back in December, and made the blogpost to officially announce it.

 

And there is still no sign of live in this blog post.. Sadly

 

Yeah, last time Tdev mentioned it was back in April so I'm assuming it's been dead in the water since then.

 

So I wonder if a update is coming this Friday .

 

The update will be released as the same date as Gabe releases the Half-Life 3
