I hope that along with WCUSA we could see a small classic car, like nash metropolitan or amc gremlin. I'd love to see more city cars in BeamNG. Lets take a look at what types of cars we do have: 1 Japanese hatchback - covet 1 Japanese cupe - 200bx 1 Italian supercar - bolide 1 modern supercar - Sbr4 2 modernish sedans - sunburst and the modern-ish pessima 2 ageing sedans - legran, old pessima 1 big modern sedan - grand marshal 2 classic mucle cars - barstow and moonhawk 1 classic sedan - burnside special 1 weird 3 wheeled thingy - pigeon 1 semi truck - t-series 1 pickup truck - d-series 1 van - h series 3 german cars ( 5 too many) 1 small offroader - hopper So what we're missing: Bus Minivan Some sort of heavy machinery European cars other than german... Modern city car Classic anerican economy car (peacer like) Big old luxury american cupe Any convertible Smaller comercial grade truck (lets say gavril d55 or d66) There are many more types of vehicles that I've missed, but theese are in my opinion the most important ones. I think that the bluebuck might actually come as a convertible, since they are possible as whe know from the old cadillac 62 series mod with working soft top.
Point 1: That's what I was thinking. After what happened with the Hopper, I don't think that we'll get many more vehicle reveals well into the future, considering that the Hopper thread was in the trash in a couple hours. It may not be to some people's tastes to keep vehicle development the most secret of the "factions" of development, but I think that any negativity related to the lack of previews will be more than overwhelmed with the massive amount of excitement from the rest of the community. Point 2: Ehhh....I was thinking more along the lines of a vehicle type we don't have yet. Something like this... ...is what I was thinking of. It doesn't have to be big; it just has to have a large impact upon the diversity of BeamNG's vehicles. OT: One thing that I realized while going through the Track vehicle configurations yesterday was that the only two Track variants to not have any skins are the Moonhawk's and the Sunburst's. The Moonhawk could just be a homebuilt modern-day trackday variant instead of a proper race car, judging by its 6-speed manual, supercharged engine, and Folk ZT55 wheels, all of which likely weren't available on any American muscle cars during the 1970s, and could only be found in high-class European race cars like the Alfa 33 Stradale. Even then, there's likely no way that an early-1970s 6-speed manual could reliably handle the massive torque of a supercharged big-block American V8. Curiously enough, the Sunburst has two Track variants, one with a manual and one with a DCT, which could mean that the Sunburst Track is a factory-built race car that ordinary people could use for racing, like the Mazda Cup Car.
It have LOD, I guarantee it, i had to do it by hand. Also at that time this map was running faster than East Cost on my shity laptop
Just for clairity's sake, are you talking about WCUSA or the GTA IV airport map? If it's the latter, how does WCUSA run compared to ECUSA?
I think that auto updating of mods is coming soon. A few months ago, This showed up in Tdev's recent activity... After which he made his recent activity private. And today, this thread shows up: https://www.beamng.com/threads/test.48356/ Could they be doing final tests of the system, to make sure it is ready for release in a week or two, and maybe even teasing us with that troll thread? Or could it be more groundwork and testing, preparing for a much later release date? I believe its the former.
In the 0.10 changelog, they said "auto-updating mods could not make it this update," meaning it should come this update.
Yeah I try and a red message appears saying unable to load images even when it is a photo someone else updated
I can't wait to party. and the debs should like release a quarter of wcusa on Italy as a mod so we can get some taste
Well, in a perfect world where everybody behaved on the forums, I'd like to have the first two images of a new vehicle (or at least some component of it) show up about a month prior to release, and then get a new picture of a component or some of the coding/behind the scenes work every two weeks or so until the update finally releases. You can negate two German cars either by building build two French cars, or a single one South Korean one, provided that the latter is from before 1995.
