Update Speculation thread

No mods has been approved this morning. Maybe we could get something today.

Facts. The only thing we're waiting for is the TBD announcement that Stenyak mentioned was coming

 

I honestly don’t get it, if it was a proper delay wouldnt they have announced it already?

 

What in the world is proper delay? Or an improper delay? They had a timeline to implement new features, and they realized they wouldn't make it within that release window, so they delayed the update. Whenever they ship an update, it takes up a lot of development time because they have to do so much testing and handle everything else involved in shipping an update.
My guess is they figured it's more beneficial to the player base and the development team to push back the update and ship the changes they really wanted to implement, rather than give us some piecemeal stuff and slow down their development.

They're not on a strict schedule, and they never publicly committed to a release date for .39, so they probably don't feel it's necessary to hit us over the head with information, but will do it when they think it's right

 

I mean a proper message saying there will be a delay, like 0.35 (Can’t remember the version)

guys I had a weird dream where BeamNG dropped a teaser and revealed they were adding Cherrier go karts. trust me guys I swear I got a vision from John BeamNG himself just wait

 

Go Karts would be sick. Could recreate Rémi Gaillard's videos lmao.

 

Honestly karts would be a great addition. Personally they aren't my thing but considering how important they are IRL as an entry to motorsports they would be useful to have.

 

They literally said that the update is delayed and that it will take months until we will know more, what else do you need for it to count?

Not everyone uses discord guys... I'm not sure what the point of an official forum is if news only gets formally posted to discord...

I agree it is a bit odd that we haven't actually seen the official announcement by now but whatever, it'll be posted when it's posted.

 

I think the devs know it would get posted here? but then again not everyone check this thread, or even the Forms, Some just go on youtube and all that.
