The way you describe the Cherrier (with the light from the last teaser) and the 2010s remind me the concept-car Alpine A110-50.
I took out my Tarot cards and they told me the whole state of Florida is getting added. I think there are absolutely no reasons not to believe that. On the topic of actual speculation: do you think tire simulation is coming anywhere close? Not speaking about next update of course, but more like, 0.40 or 0.41? Asking because maybe I just missed some stuff and that video about tires is already 10 months old.
I do know the car had a name in the dream but I can’t remember what it is. It started with L and sounded very French though.
According to Stenyak, for sure nothing tire-related this year, but next year IS possible to see something implemented, but it’s too early to tell as of right now
Had another, more realistic idea since my last week speculation where I've said that we'll get 2 brand new cars .. I think we will get the new Cherrier sport car + 2 refresh / remasters instead of 2 new cars or 1 new cars + 1 refresh . I think the Pessima MK2 and the Hopper and the only vanilla vehicles left to be remastered. I know the Pessima MK2 is not that old but it's lacking in a lot of areas ( configs , body types , interiors quality ) and the Hopper is .. well you know . I feel like they are close on being remastered or at least worked on since they both never received the smooth lightning system that was implemented some times ago . I don't think a new map is impossible too . Making a new map takes a long time and that would be explaining the delay AND the last new map was added back in 2022 I think ( Johnson Valley ) On top of that we are getting volumetric clouds , surely a working taxi system ( taking inspiration from the RLS Career Overhaul Mod as I know the Career Mode lead Dev, James , is pretty close to them ! ) , a new car , maybe some weather visual improvements and headlights that actually will work and make driving at night possible.
The Pessima MK2 was remastered in 0.24, alongside the remaster of the H-Series. Personally, I think the Pessima MK1 needs more work than the MK2.
wouldnt it be cool if the beamng team worked on a lore friendly subaru outback(i would calll it Hiroshi/Ibishu woodland)
Yes!! Black plastic body trim pieces, a slightly raised suspension and a 2.5 F4 (and/or a 3.5 F6) combined with the CVT and the Viscous AWD system of the Sunburst Comfort variant would make for a great Wagon Crossover! But a platform like this would also be great as a Sports Sedan/Sports Wagon. Just imagine a Hirochi Midsize Sports Sedan/Sports Wagon with the 3.5 F6, the Sunburst Sport RS's adjustable-locking mechanical AWD system and a 6-speed manual (and/or the 7-speed DCT)! Not to mention that a Midsize SUV can also be based on this platform!
Maybe someday yeah! We do have the hirochi héritage mod though, so I guess we kinda have an outback already
