So you said it only goes to 7200 RPM, but in the video it's 8200~ RPM, so am I just misunderstanding?

And is the file description generally spot on with the actual in-game vehicle engine? So, would this be a 5.2L V10 engine from 2017? If we're using real-life vehicles as a reference, the most popular V10 of that size/type was used in the Huracan/Audi R8
If the engine really does only rev to 7200rpm, then it could be more akin to the version that was placed in the Audi S8 way back in the day. A big, flagship, executive sedan isn't something we have in the game yet, so who knows.

Isn't the new Cherrier more a coupé than a sedan ?

Unless we're all completely wrong about the proportions of the new Cherrier car, I don't think that engine would fit.

I don’t see how it possibly could be an executive sedan. The body shape lines up with a coupé more than anything else.

Yeah, and it'd be quite a small coupe, too - it looks to be Audi TT size (4.2m) or a bit longer, so roughly the same size as the SBR4. For context, the D3 S8 (the one with the V10) was about 5.1m in length (so, around the size of the Bastion).

I think it will be smaller than the SBR4.
The SBR4 have 4 seats while the Audi TT has 2 seats.

French luxury boats don't work. I don't think they even exist.

It probably will be, but not by as much as you think - the SBR4's only 4.25m long, while the third-gen TT's 4.19m long. The SBR4's a "four-seater" the same way a GT86/GR86 is a "four-seater" - the back seats are more for storage than seating people.

There've been several French luxobarges throughout history - the Facel-Vegas, the long line of luxury Citroens (Traction Avant, DS, CX, SM, XM, C6), the big Peugeots (604, 605, 607), Delahayes, Delages, Talbot-Lagos, Voisins, Hotchkisses, and the DS 9. (The last one's not quite at the same caliber as the previous ones, but it is still quite large and luxurious, at 4.94m long.)

i dunno. im quite hopeful that we'll still get a summer update. im betting on july-august, maybe early september.

and in case the delay is bigger than most assume, we always got a backup plan:

(the plan is to go insane so we can entertain ourselves)

if we look on the schedule of updates we missed the spring update (in march) and will gonna miss the summer update (in june) so we may or may not get the fall update in september. If not we can be like half life fans after tga
