Update Speculation thread

The ardente is in the vivance folder, but it is separate in the menu. (If you go in the configurator, you can change the body between the hatch and coupe) I think it will get more common with vehicles sharing a platform, its so much easier to mod.

Fucking hopper needs simplified traffic.

 

The prospect of having a douchebag in a brodozer pulling up behind me with aftermarket LED headlights and illuminated wheel wells in the new lighting system both scares and excites me.

 

Honestly didn't even realize. I don't think it was even in the release notes, maybe deep in the patch notes.

That still doesn't answer what the map we saw in the Rockbasher teaser was though. I just compared and there's no palm trees on cliff either. Still the possibility of a new map.

 

Auto EV works really bad. When I drive at night with my headlights on, I can hardly see anything. And I understood why this is happening: such a lane is only on those cars where there are screens in the cabin. The automatic EV just can't handle them and starts to darken the game a lot. And if you take an older car, then everything is almost perfect. But it's still a little dark.

 

Only thing preventing me from using Vulkan is that we still cannot change the game resolution.

oh they also added a lot of rocks and some trees, also the terrain is pbr. Thats really nice, finally feels like a real map

another day, another hotfix
and another, its version 0.39.2.1 for some reason

 

"Wl40: fixed front axle blowing up on showloader config when engine shuts off in arcade automatic gearbox mode"

I wish I found that before it was fixed, that sounds hilarious

Side note, that new WL config just barely scratches that 10 year long itch for a gen 1/2 monster truck enough to make it itch even more

 

I believe they also added night lighting to Hirochi Raceway and Industrial Site, but someone double check me on that.
Also, for some reason the new freecam modes weren't listed in the patch notes but were briefly mentioned in MuYe's video. Any idea why that could be happening?

 

Not sure about Industrial Site but Hirochi Raceway has had night lighting for a while.

 

EV version tastes like nostalgia, Then i knew why. To me the front hints of the old G2 ( in a good way )

I wonder if Gabe had a helping hand on this car, feels like it ( and that would be very cool ) either way love the new car

 

Anyone else notice the changes to west coast? Diner no longer has transparent windows, and the blocked off bit of the city is now different.
