I still believe that the only other hotfix that should be released for beam is a bit more improvements for performance on West Coast USA. Everything else should be released in 0.12
all i want right now is a new vehicle to play with weither it comes with a hotfix or it comes in the next update. and could @gabester give us an update on his situation?
Like I said before. We need improvements in AI right now. We have plenty of maps, cars but so what? I mastered every time trial in every vanilla car. I really don't want another car right now. I would be happier if we get more variants, for example K-series for GT race, and more race tracks maps.
AI turns around in the middle of road with more than 2 cars on WCUSA for some reason, none of the hotfixes have fixed it yet. ;(
Not sure if anyone brought this up, but B25Mitch has altered WCA to make the bridge and the closed island reachable normally. The bridge will lead to a tunnel which serves as a turnaround loop.
Also, before anyone gets too excited, the bridge just leads to a reverse loop tunnel. The island is still not detailed. (Basically, you go in the tunnel from the island side of the bridge one way, and come back across the bridge the other.)
But still, great news to hear that the bridge is going to be driveable, and maybe some of the tunnels that currently lead out of the map will be connected as well.
B25Mitch has stated that he WILL NOT be connecting the other blocked roads on WCA. He cites that "it allows for the map to feel like it is part of a bigger world".
The only problem what I have with WCUSA is lack of alleys and paths between buildings. I found only one (marked on the screenshot). Why? Also there are a lot of parking lots with interior but closed for player.
There is atleast one multi level parking lot that you can enter and drive up to the top(an snowman can be found in the one I'm referring to). The rest of them have no ramps between the floors and they are not accessible due to the fact that the ramps connecting the floors would just be more stuff for the game to process and that slows down performance.
Yeah tile loading system would most likely solve that. Sadly BeamNG doesn't have that. BeamNG is sadly very graphics intensive. And the only lower end part of my PC id GPU... (GTX 1050TI)
for me, it’s my CPU That has a lot of it when I run BeamNG. Every time I open the game, my CPU Performance rises higher than trumps wall, so does my GPU, but my GPU is an old outdated graphics card, and my CPU Is a lot newer, so I’m not comparing my cpu against my GPU. But I can lean over your side, BeamNG Is very graphic intensive, and very CPU Intensive (physics, and other stuff)

That's very odd. He usually makes certain that he's around whenever an update or hotfix gets released. On a secondary note, the last two hotfixes have included this tagline: Which kind of makes me wonder when they're planning to release 0.12. Soon enough that they want this tag to distinguish between the two, or so far off that they want to reassure us that 0.12 will come eventually?
