I expect it to be around April or May for the next update if this pattern of every update taking longer than the last one.
I've noticed some bugs involving the crushable lightbars have been fixed. EDIT: They're still there. :|
I really have no idea how lightbar bugs are not fixed.. After 4 hotfixes.. Hopefully it's fixed in 0.12.
I want to skip 0.11.0.4, since it seems to only fix stuff that's very irrelevant to me. I don't use the ingame repository, and typically the levels show up for me just fine, unless it fixes the issues with levels like Emirate Island. However, I feel like Steam forces you to do updates. It still hasn't shut up about Automation updates, after I backed out of the UE4 stuff.
I've bought the game straight after checking if the full version is going to run on my old crappy PC... Maybe some files were left over. I know that there are required specs listed, but since my PC was way below them and I was able to run the demo (at 15-18fps), I needed to check if it was going to work.
Wouldn't have to do such things if demos were any good at demonstrating the performance of the full game. *cough* update *cough* your *cough* demo *cough* BeamTeam *cough*
Man, my PC Can cook toast. But what's your specs? Mine are Intel Core I3 2120 @3.3GHz 6GB RAM, And a GeForce GT 740
We're going REALLY offtopic now... Since I'm responding anyway, the main cooker parts are: FX-6100 @4.3GHz and HD 3870x2. Send me a PM if you want to have a conversation, I'd rather not fill the thread with this EDIT: Seriously, this has been more of a Casual BeamNG Conversation Thread than anything speculation-related lately :|
speculation? what speculation. the devs haven't posted anything on the dev section and tis the holidays. we are probably gonna see some stuff come January (I hope)
At the time I've bought the game, the demo was just released, so It was a good representation of the game. + from what I remember Demo is the same as full version, but with one argument changed from false to true and with all of the vehicles and maps removed, except grid map and the D-Series. So releasing a new demo is If I'm not mistaken 10-30 min job --- Post updated --- Okay, back on topic: What feature will be implemented next? My bet would be tire thermals. + indicator sounds.
The original demo is very outdated. IIRC it runs on Unreal Engine, so even the game engine is different. The physics are different, gridmap has changed, optimisation has improved and the D-series got more parts. (not to mention many new cars, parts and maps, AI, etc) At this point, the demo vaguely resembles Beamng at its current state.
Not true. It runs on Torque3D, but still very old. All the public versions of the game were on Torque3D.
I believe you are thinking of the original demo, and the engine before Torque 3D was cryengine. The demo has since been updated but it still could use an update.
