Update Speculation thread

It could be a bus wich both works in the us and europe as italy probably is going to have a bigger city in it but i dont know enough about buses to look up if there are some bus models wich are used in europe and the us

 

Unless I'm mistaken, RoR came stock with a bus. I wonder if it will be anything like that.

i'm just happy that we have another vehicle coming that's in-game already that we've seen screenshots of.

 

i really want time machine to be ale to see the future of Beamng, but at the same time part of this game is predicting the updates and getting surprised with new cars.

 

probably just an upfit for the H-series or T-series

 

Not a chance. It's much too low to be the, T-series or even the H-series (and I'm still kind of surprised that beamng's first official bus isn't based on the H-series). The seats would be clipping through the frame at that point!

 

Doesn't look like the average european bus to me on the screen, or must be quite a steamy bar of driving iron

 

I wonder if in career mode we will get tiny details like turn signal noise and maybe improved flat tires or something like that. i could see the bus being like a Minigame or career choice in career mode.

 

If/when we get more details, they won't be confined to career mode.

 

I would really like better flats, but i feel like if we had real flat tires, they would be laggy. Also, it would probably be kind of hard to make them not vanish.

Also, I meant more coming with the update that adds career mode.

 

I remember the angle tester, not sure about the other stuff.

That looks like it would be handy for career mode - have cars to fix spawn in parking spots outside of the garage.

I wonder if this sort of parking lot spawnpoint cluster exists on other maps...

 

They're probably adding carrer mode stuff to the game part by part... but for what reason?

 

It could be because career mode is the biggest, most complex project in Beamng to date, and it makes a certain amount of sense to bring it in bit by bit so they don't have to deal with debugging a massive addition all at once.

 

There will be surprise of online variety at some time in a future, not sure if next version, but later.

Mods have tamper proofing systems added, so there is some sort of online leaderboards or competitive scenario system coming.

With all the subtle hints I think it is just a matter of time that such come.

Perhaps related to career mode too as perhaps career works partly by online board system, other player playing same missions set time that you need to beat or something like that.
