Ok, here is the picture arguing that this car is actually front engine. I have circled what I believe is an exhaust pipe because it has what appears to be a flexible section like real exhaust systems have to allow the engine to rock and move separately to the exhaust.
long shot imo, imagine how the community -made up of 5 year olds- would react if what they thought was a beloved beetle-500-mini-hybrid turned out to be some random soviet car? --- Post updated --- maaaaaaaaybeee... but what about all of the steering components, i see nothing in the sheet metal that would hold a steering column...
But we need a Soviet car, though I always wanted a 70s-90s compact or midsize to reenact crash compilations .
I'm not sure, but it could be under the panel on the bottom of the engine compartment. The firewall(s) block any view of the suspension anyways, so we won't be able to tell for sure until we get more info/screenshots.
My theory is either a Fiat 500 or a Mini Fiat 500 - Iconic Italian car, enough said Mini - Played major role in the iconic Turin (Italy) chase scene in The Italian Job.
People kept bringing up Mini for some reason, so that would be the only reason to feature it. Did more research, I highly believe that it's a Fiat 500. Also, it seems that all the vehicle artists are now making their own cars (CarlosAir made the Bus, Falkrum made this new car)...
Probably a mix of the 500 and Beetle. I highly suspect it will be under an Italian manufacturer to fit Italy, but Civetta doesn't seem likely.
If it's front engined, then why is there a big sheet of metal (with the same texture as the D-Series' bed) right in front of it? Also, there's wheel wells right in front of it, which makes no sense in a front engined car. IMO it's definitely rear-engined.
what are you all on about? It's clearly not a fiat 500 counter part. Engine bay is way too large, and engine is classic vw boxer. No need to go further. It'll clearly be a copy of the beetle. Though the engine bay layout makes me kinda think of the karmann, it's way too steep to be. Will most likely be as the same size of the beetle, and have similar characteristic, but won't be a 1:1 copy either. And it's not a mini cooper wtf people
My bet is on an italian fiat 500/600 more than a vw beetle even though the engine is more similar to the beetle a fiat would still make more sense seeing italy and so on also it seems like theres alot of space in the engine bay why would you do that on a car wich is built to use as little space as possible
