Since this car is rear engined with A B, it's fairly possible this vehicle is Beam's take on Volkswagen...presumably the VW Type 1 (aka Old Beetle).

 

Yeah, we've figured that much out already.

 

Does it have a big enough radiator?

It's a question Clarkson forgot to ask about his.

 

Tatra V8 is air cooled, so with that there would be no troubles of having radiator big enough, it would have too little airflow for any kind of extended fun

 

For all we know, the AB could be front engined, but with a really dumb looking front end. I don’t think the devs will just mash a 500 and a beetle together, I think they’ll make something like that Tatra, but the small engine takes that possibility away...

I just can’t see them using two of the most well known air cooled rear engine cars as a base for the next in game car. I think it will have other cars as well.

 

I happen to believe the exact opposite!

Leave the V8 alone for now.

With E3 2018 around the corner, do you think it's possible that an update of some kind will be coming?

 

Is the WCUSA update with the tunnels still a thing?

oh, well i think the devs said that they weren't doing it

 

I doubt that there is going to be update, but if they are going to E3, they might have E3 specific version to showcase there, however I have not heard much of them visiting such events, some developer announces such events quite a lot, but can't remember if BeamNG team has done such before?

Also those will cost something and also there are time considerations as well as timing considerations, is development in such stage that it is beneficial right now or would it be better to work on product now and do such event later.

Building huge hype train too soon is neither good, maybe they wait until they have career mode released so they have more game than platform to build hype train on, I can't say I would know much how things are for them, but somehow it would feel more logical to wait with E3 alike for little later.

 

I actually checked E3, and sure enough, BeamNG is not listed. I don't see an early access game coming to E3. Maybe at the final version, but not now.

 

I don´t think BeamNG will ever be present at E3. Youtube and Clickbait videos around the net made the game more popular than they might have dreamt of (just speculation of course)
