Not sure if scale models can be used as evidence for real cars though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    See above.

3rd series "D" models were built from 1965 to 1969 and adopted by the Carabinieri for the "Pronto Intervento" division. From '67-'68 onward, all vehicles progressively adopted the new livery. The 600 was then discontinued in 1969.

Car pictured above is definitely a "D" 3rd series, you can tell that by the simplified chrome trim, front-hinged doors, larger headlights and new hubcaps.

Yeah, they can be 'slightly' off at times, but I would guess devs manage to find out years etc. if needed, then again it is BeamNG Universe.

took the sbr engine, and added a placeholder name in all the necessary places (for now it's "autobello") and added all the necessary nodeoffset and mesh offset parameters so that I can easily move it into the correct place.

Also, can we get an AB variant with normal doors? I can't imagine that would be too difficult to do.

I honestly suspect that Italy will release similar to WCA. I highly doubt it will be released this month, and an October release still seems too early. Remember, Italy is a MASSIVE map and there's the Autobello as well which also is additional work.

    I predict something like this:

In late October an "Italy Preview" video will be announced, with hints towards a late November release date, along with the return of an updated "Official Halloween Mod", with support for West Coast, USA and the Automation Test Track. In late November, likely November 25th around 3 - 8 pm EST
(When 0.11 released), 0.14 will be released.

You know, I've held that viewpoint the last four or five updates. But now I'm not quite so certain … Italy has been in development for about 2 1/2 years now, and the Autobello is looking fairly fleshed out.

I'm really not sure what to think this time around.

Since when did devs like posts speculating about update release date?

usually the devs keep the dates secret so if they miss the date they had planned to release it nobody would be yelling thinking it was the actual date

It has been stated that Italy is 16 square km, 4 times the size of East Coast, USA.

There are 5 map sizes in BeamNG.Drive

    Small: (1 sq km)
    Port
    Industrial Site
    ETK Driver Experience Center
    Derby Arenas
    Gridmap

    Medium: (2.3 sq km)
    Hirochi Raceway

    Large: (4 sq km)
    East Coast, USA
    West Coast, USA
    Utah, USA
    Jungle Rock Island
    Automation Test Track
    Cliff
    Template
    Small Island, USA

    Massive (16 sq km)
    Italy (Upcoming)

    "Infinite" (-1 sq km)
    Grid, Small, Pure

So, no, Italy is larger than WCA.

Probably not. There is a very good chance that all the buildings will be separate meshes, unlike WCA. The 2 mesh city didn't have LODs, and thus was loaded 24/7 at full detail, which caused the FPS issues.
