Update Speculation thread

IIRC, there are unused V10 sounds in the game files. What kind of car is the audio based on? (I have no idea, I can't identify an engine based on sounds for the life of me)

 

I guess it was supposed to be for the K-Series?

 

Love to see a police and rally version. Also, strips would be cool.

 

They are reportedly just for future compatibility - sound banks are outsourced, so they purchased all packs they might need beforehand - but there are no current plans to use them at the moment.

 

Am I the only one who sees this Fiat 500 and instantly wants for Zastava Badges

 

Not something related to the game update, but did BeamNG GmbH move recently?

Wasn't it located somewhere near a university? Now it's closer to the city centre.

 

Their old office used to be near the university in Bremen. It moved at the beginning of the year to the old town.

The audio folder. You would need to make an engine that used those sound samples to hear them, as the original files are password protected.

The devs are just spam liking my posts in this thread, so I'm gonna say they're trolling at this point...

 

Maybe not a full campaign, but I do expect at least one scenario for the Autobello, if not a few more.

Not really speculation but I hope that diamondback codes some controllers to control cars I:E auto levelling airbags, proper hybrids, self-inflating/deflating tires etc. that would be cool and a good thing to have if one promotes the sandbox as a good vehicle simulator
I'm also looking forward to the next updates.

 

It's not too far yet, they haven't given any staff picks away! Maybe it is legit maybe it isn't we won't know until November 25th

I might revise and fix some things on the bolide Cabrio so I can drive around like I'm used to when Italy is ready
Or finish the fintray but that will probably be after Italy is released (unless @LJFHutch waits for me )
I'm really looking forward to Italy, I hope it will come with those nasty restaurants next to the autostrada and the smell of coffee in the morning and a blend of pasta and risotto, with some pizza, in the evening

 

Now I know Farming Simulator developers did experimenting with smell in their game, there is even video about it on YT, but didn't know coffee obsession of our devs had reached that level yet
