Curious about something that was already confirmed that should be ignored.

Doesn't really sound like you were in anyway curious, especially that you keep having to mentioning it.

 

My issue is that I've had to bring it up multiple times to you, and you still keep posting it.

 

It could be a brand that used to make small sports cars but chose to enter the Passenger car market to stay afloat (you can't survive making just sports and high end luxury cars).

 

How bout the t series fire engine? And also, the devs have never said anything about a tow truck d series?

 

As far as I can remember, there was placeholder files with D Series Tow Truck names in the file structure

I swear that you just make this stuff up.

 

And there’s literally some controller/key configuration that are in the game’s controls settings when you have the d-series active. It’s very, very unnecessary for developers to leave code that’s close to being finished, but isn’t incremented into the main game.

My best bet that it’s finished but it’s for the carrer mode that the public doesn’t have access to, but the developers and testers do hence why it’s in the game but we can’t use it as of right now.

 

I'm thinking about empty board that Nadeox posted, then I'm seeing he is now posting maybe bit more than some time ago and somehow seems more relaxed.

I'm getting vibes that empty board was related to todo list for next update, based on this very, uhm, concrete evidence

 

I hope the D series tow truck comes out, a mod has existed for over a year and it shouldn't be that difficult to produce. Also, the D series should have either a turbodiesel or a big block V8/V10, but it's no big deal.

Thanks for the update, and the "stay tuned" implies it wont be too far off.

Hopefully we get at least one new vehicle, more scenarios/track configs, and more vehicle configs.

 

I think it is very likely performance improvements are going to be done to engine, not only to map.

Also it is likely that they have now 20fps in Italy as it is likely that their target is 60fps.

That is also indication that it is very unlikely that such performance leaps will happen with current graphics engine, which means engine improvements are needed.

Pretty much just random guessing.

@Fera white board was reference to this which Nadeox posted to community screenshots with Eek smiley https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-632#post-929434 However finding that from community screenshots is bit of work.

Also tdevs post's part about stay tuned can also mean that there will be coming news about what is to come, not necessarily that new performance updates will happen next update after next, it could take bit longer.
