Beta Quebecois wheels don't really suit the Bolide either, as they are modelled after Alfa Romeo alloys and the Bolide looks nothing like any Alfa Romeo I can think of...
sure, they don't fit based on real life counterparts, but they kind of fit the overall aesthetic. the lamborghini jarama had a similar style of wheels, and they generally just give that "upmarket/performance 70s-80s italian car" look. or at least they do more than bare steelies...
A front-engined, vaguely retro-styled 2+2 berlinetta of the '70s vs a mid-engined, wedge-shaped 2-seater sportscar of the '80s. They have exactly nothing in common other than nationality. And rims.
Yes, of course. The name of the rims itself is a nod at the Alfa Romeo Montreal (Alfa -> Beta, Montreal -> Quebec). But still... They don't suit the Bolide at all...
Damn this photo looks freaking awesome. Why my game doesn't look like this? If I set the game to night it turns the whole screen black. It would be great if the upcoming updates focus a bit more in lighting, specially moon light. What a blast would be playing BeamNG set at night without tweaking the gamma and enabling dynamic reflections because the cubemap renders quite awful in the glass...
I was looking back on the most recent blog post, and I was looking at this image. from what I can gather, I haven't seen a road resembling this one in the current version. is it possible that they are finally adding stuff to the ex-racetrack part in the back of the of the port map?
It looks more like the itally map. The port racetrack map thingy has full width dirt roads instead of a dirth patch you see on the pic.
It looks like the road on the old main menu that the game had before the current iteration (with the changes to the version on a road sign) IIRC the road was on either Small Island USA or on Port + Industrial area map EDIT: like this
