... because it takes so long and it is better to wait a long time for new features ...

I don't agree with that. It is a new feature and I'm fine with it, if it has just a range of 100km or so and having it in the next update (?) instead of waiting a whole year for a new electric car.

That's called "banter". The Brits built comedy around it.

You can use transport rims for that... ;)
I feel this is somewhat directed to me and the infamous blinkers discussion... :p

    Thank you for the clarification.

Speaking personally, I always appreciated the effort. Sometimes, though, like in the case of the "incident" mentioned above, I voiced my opinion very respectfully 2 months before release of the vehicle in question and I expressed my concerns about some less-than-obvious consistency issues I noticed (like the "gem" turn signals mistaken for side blinkers). It was just with some insistence that I finally managed to get some attention, the night before patch day... Meanwhile, my "respectfully-voiced opinion" had to pass through all kind of attempts from other forum members to shut it down. From "opinion" (more like well-documented facts), it escalated quickly into an apparently nitpicky and pointless argument over irrelevant details. And, it was simple, basic information you could have gathered with some quick research, no less.

That's exactly the point here: sometimes, precious feedback from third parties can help immensely when dealing with strict time and scope constraints.

This may have been mentioned, but this resembles the electric AMG SLS. I’m pretty sure that had batteries in the trans tunnel.

It did, but it also had batteries behind the dash and in the trunk, so...maybe the transmission-tunnel batteries aren't the last that we'll see in the electric SBR4. Either way, it's a fascinating concept (and one that befits the oddball nature of the SBR4).

I know this is months old, but what was the video on the dev thread that Nadeox posted in November? I can’t view it right now.

It was a teaser of the race version of the Autobello.

Now that it's released, it really isn't of much importance anymore.

There is plenty of room for batteries in the SBR4 - the frunk, the trunk, the driveshaft tunnel, the rear seats, behind the dashboard. Just stuff batteries wherever you can, problem solved ;)

Weight might be an issue, but with all that torque, good weight distribution and AWD, maybe not so much.

with all that energy, along with a 3-motor setup, i doubt weight will be an issue.

The problem with weight is, that it really doesn't want to go around corners ;)

And that is why we have electronic stability control. Make like a modern auto maker and use technology as a substitute for proper engineering!

How are you gonna fix that problem? More downforce/aero?

I do believe a facelift is planned, which could include better aero.

this is interesting with the esbr4, they should also consider working more on the cvt transmission because they dont high rev and stay high rev as in game now. some actually mimic shifts ive drove 2 nissans with a cvt that does this. also if they fixed the cvt's that would also help the introduction of hybrids which should come at some point and would be nice to figure ways to break them lol

Unfortunately ESC can't defy physics, so that's really not helping in the larger scale of things...
Even if go all out and do a motor per wheel with fancy torque vectoring etc, if the thing ends up weighing 2.5t it's not going to be all that nimble...

I think this will take heavy cues from the SLS Electric Drive.

Not sure how much range this will realistically get, as the SLS ED got 160 miles of range with not much in the way of batteries.

Who knows, maybe much more efficient battery designs may come in the future...
