The whole thread is literally nothing but spam. And people linking previous patterns and assumptions to a update dropping. The game's been out for the past six years, and the developers have very rarely made exact dates for when an update will drop. They mentioned a date once and said they wouldn't again as they had to put in loads of extra time to polish it to be out in time for the deadline.
So using the forum for discussions should be banned because people speculate the release of something they are looking fowards to? You ever order something online and get excited and start wondering when it will come? It's not demanding the mailman to hurry up, just looking forward to when it'll come.
I'm not a teenager. I don't really get excited for things, I learned about patience from a young age.
I wish more people were like you. The update will come when it's ready, and at this point there's really nothing else to speculate on.
Sigh.....guess people wont give it up. This thread feels more like a confuse the whole community thread rather than making a guess and leaving it there. Ive noticed how some beamng fans are with updates 1. Beg for update to be released. 2. Get the update. 3. Complain about bugs. 4. Complain about lacking features. 5. Ask for things that arent possible. 6. Ask devs about the next update. 7. Get a hotfix. 8. Complain more about lacking features. 9. Repeat the process
Good things come to those who wait! However there’s nothing wrong with being excited for the next update, I sure am, despite being a fully grown adult And a bit of speculation isn’t going to hurt anyone, even if most of it is nothing more than wishful thinking.
I don't understand people sometimes. I personally like this thread, but I can understand why some don't like it. What I don't understand is why others want this thread removed because they don't like it. If I don't like something, I ignore it. Anyways about the update, it will probably be within a week or two. Good things come to those who wait, like banana bread at work good.
I didn't say patience, I said excited for something. They aren't the same at all. I'm not a teen either, and I'm far from impatient. I don't see what the harm is in people with a common interest talking about said common interest. We aren't demanding anything or being impatient. Just having a discusion. We ain't telling devs to hurry up, we are just saying we look forward to the update and maybe it'll come out whenever. We know it'll be out when it's ready, but it's not like we ain't allowed to wonder that.
Anyhow, about American cars: Power and size always has and always will cost you a premium anywhere else in the world. Here in America, you could, for a time, get as much power and style in as big or small a car as you could imagine, at a fair price. To an extent, you still can if you buy used and/or modify. 1967 Renault: Top engine: 0.8 L, 30-55 HP 1967 Volkswagen: Top engine: 1.5 L, 55 HP 1967 Fiat: Top engine: 0.8 L, 49 HP 1967 Pontiac: Top engine: 7.0 L, 390 HP (and 472 lbs-ft) So, which would you rather drive? A European pissbox, or a fire-breathing American monster? We declared independence for a reason.
true in that era, but in the 80's where american cars were boxy heavy underpowered inefficient monsters with insanely low specific output, meanwhile high performance saloons from the germans like the BMWs were simply in another league, and the everyday cars, just much better than the american equivalents i guess.. I will admit that before the fuel crisis, american cars were way more desirable than european cars..
but c'mon it's ridiculous seeing 3.8L v6 making like 130-140hp.. just a waste really.. there is the smoothness argument sure, and 'having a v6/v8' argument also... but it's a bit silly efficiency wise..
