I wonder if the cliff map would be updated. I'd love to see some small bridges and trails, (Leap of death style) and maybe a few trees and bushes.
Okay, what maps would to get update next to ECUSA? Small Island - make more realistic look, maybe add some buildings, etc... Utah - un-loop the tunnel, adding some towns, expanding highway. WCUSA - expanding the highway, add something like Beverly Hills from LA or Silicon Valley from SF.
Utah tunnel loop was added to make Utah feel bigger and I think it should stay since having 2 destroyed tunnels would be really strange. WCUSA needs to be completely remade as it's feels completely wrong outside the downtown area.
If it were to go somewhere the map would need to be expanded but that's means the map would need to be completely remade in a larger map.
San Amaro is not part of the map. The area you are referring to is the "Horizon Estate". On the topic of maps: ECA, Small Island, Port, Derby Arenas, and Industrial Site are all confirmed to be seeing improvements. Hirochi Raceway will likely be updated if ECA is updated. JRI is rather old as well, and might be updated. Utah is a newer map, but it could see some useful improvements. All of the later maps are likely new enought to not need improvements.
Well, look what i found back in the older devblogs! Map upgrades are a definite thing for the next updates.
That is how we all already know about these map updates. That came out before the last major update IIRC, no confirmation for when they will be released.
Now that you have said it. Does the game automatically add the values or is a person just randomly typing a reasonable number?
Values are added manually, they’re in the .jbeam files of the parts. If those values end up being used in game as prices for cars/parts, which I assume they most likely will, then I can see some mods introducing extremely high prices for parts. Either that or people going through the files and lowering values of parts they want.
I was watching old youtube videos and the player drove through a section of the abanonded section of Hirochi Raceway. If that map gets updated, that section will look incredible, I am very excited for that possibility. Also, I would love to see a vehicle config or two obviously just built for homologation rules. With the T-Series configs having recieved some love, it is possible we will start to see more attention given to configs of older vehicles. Edit: I guess the I-Series Evo is, I was thinking of the more crazy cars like the Charger Daytona and the Group B cars. I guess I've just gotten use to the Evo II with how popular it is as a model/poster car.
They should really add more parts to the T Series! That ol' big rig really needs love. Maybe an update specifically for the Big T?
Which would not even be that unrealistic. Someone in Japan, OS Giken I think they were called, was making twin-cam heads for older Nissan straight-sixes that cost the equivalent of... I think the figure I heard was $45,000-$50,000 for a single head. The funny part is, you don't even need it. A single-cam head, with a little bit of black magic applied, can get roughly the same power.
Still, seems kind of a waste at that price. Unless this is some kind of sanctioned racing thing where the modifications required to get power from a single-cam are not allowed or will put you in a class where you're uncompetitive, in which case it just goes to show why I hate sanctioned racing.
High-beam toggle keybinding will be released in next update: The feature was added just over an hour and a half after being suggested, that's pretty impressive
I know this belongs in car suggestions but the people there just spam 40 car requests each, changing nothing (the devs likely stoped reading those years ago) so im just gonna post this here: we really fuckin need a modern 2000-2020 european big van (merc sprinter, vw crafter..) and a ambulance config for the car. (Maybe new germanish car brand or etk or charmand!? possibly autobello) AMBULANCE!!!!! I need to practice (not) crashing in beam... Pic related:
Does this mean we can now blip sirens and emergency lights rather than cycling through the 3 settings?
