I can imagine that Firwood will only get some props and textures (maybe) added/upgraded, due to it getting an upgrade not too long ago, but what do I know.
The Firwood overhaul was in March 2016, more than 3 years ago. The whole area is very outdated compared to the current quality standards, and I would not be surprised if the entire town is rebuilt with the same road layout.
Looks like they're replacing the blobby rocks with some rocks that actually look like rocks. Hopefully they do this for the rest of the cliffs and whatnot because it looks kinda odd currently.
Here's also hoping they are modeled from all sides, instead of having these annoying gaps that current rocks got on them.
Map updates still have to be within the performance limits of everything else due to the minimum/required specs. If you can run the maps currently in game, you can run these. If not, there should be a legacy version to download like there is for DRI and the old gridmap.
Performance wise, they are pretty similar. Of course we are working within the requirements we have set already. The map is certainly much more detailed now, but at the same time we are applying many of the optimization tricks we learned in the years and used in the most recent maps. I'm not going to give numbers now, as things are in progress, but on my machine* I'm far from going below 60fps on the original level, and same on this reworked version. *Ryzen 2700x + 1070 (no OC) @2560x1080
Where is bubu? Pls giv bluebucc Seriously though, it does seem fair that we should get a decent Bluebuck teaser, at the very least, to celebrate the 4th of July.
It seems that ECA will feature Stop Ahead signs before Stop Signs. Another nice detail I didn't expect to see.
this is Stupid, But a off road buleback ? Just full of yuck, But i want it so so bad. ( like Pic but sedan ) Also gross donk ( those HUGE rim things ) But one we will all love is a beater,. ( AH that sounds sexy to me ) moonhawk looks to have a beater in the works??? Not just a skin, Maybe this will be sweet, the 50s Burnside is sweet. ( use it lots ) But the 60s era has no sedans, i consider this a Barstow sedan kinda
