This comes up fairly often and it really is starting to annoy me. The fact that it's in a completely different size class should be reason enough to not have the "it's just a LeGran" premise. Yes I would prefer something more unique, but IMO having another fullsize car is enough. Yes it probably would be better to push it off and push something better for gameplay first, but the Soliad was promised ages ago and that original content ought to be wrapped up. As for this update conversation. Probably see another video during the week and the update a week from today.
honestly west coast and a few other updates happened while I was sleeping, so like I'd assume that it's either gonna be in like 8-9 hours or if they're going for daytime germany then probably within the next like 5 hours
I find it odd that they'd release an update trailer an entire week before the update. The video from yesterday was not a teaser, but rather the video one would see on the update changelog. I do not believe the developers have ever released one of those videos that far before an update before.
I know, but I don't think it'll be today either. I'm expecting the situation we had with the Italy update and an update sometime during the week. It's been a long time since a major update on a day other than Friday to my memory.
0.15 was Thursday, 0.14 was Tuesday. The list goes on. For a long while updates were normally on Tuesdays.
for publicity it'd be cool if like 24 hours before the update they started a live stream where there's just a red button in a room and when the button is pressed the update is released
0.13 had an exact known time of release because Automation Collaboration. I remember the hours leading up to release as chaos.
okay that's also a good point however the west coast usa was also chaos due to the fake release screencap
Updates are usually released when they can ensure a few days of headroom for urgent hotfixes right after it. To be honest... Late on a Friday - 6:20 PM CET right now - right before one of the most common holiday break periods in August doesn't sound all that plausible to me...
Don't many update release dates coordinate with holidays? We frequently see updates before Christmas, Easter, and other holidays.
I live in the mid west of the ol' USA. It's 11:30 rn and normal the updates come around in the afternoon. I remember the Italy update dropped wall I was at school in a afternoon class. So I guess for now Ima keep my eye on steamdb
