If we're getting a new Autobello, it should be damn well whatever the devs want it to be because 9/10 times they hit the nail on the head and that other one time didn't happen- if it's what they want to build, they'll build it- and it'll be damn good, too. (unless it's a wendover ) ((i kid, i kid))
Excuse me, I think the Pontiac Sunbird is the best car ever made and it's the reason why I've been waiting for the Wendover (different size class, but ersatz version of the manufacturer) for 5 years. Giv Sadlad Fakebird please.
The thing I'd want most from autobello is a tiny '90s sports car, like the Fiat Barchetta or Alfa Romeo GTV/spyder. X But what do I know.
I would love to see more cross-fusion sort of cars like the Piccolina, where it adapts a whole different layout for a car that makes it sound more of a Frankenstein car into a surprisingly fitting product. (Apologies if my wording is a little clustered, but you get the point)
Unless I'm mistaken, though, isn't there already a notJeep in the game? Pretty sure the Wrangler was the major inspiration for the Hopper, even if it also takes significant cues from the FJ40 and others.
it WHAT!? --- Post updated --- I would want a GM EV1 for the mystery car, with a title of something like "Gavril EV-Series"
Important vehicle types we still don't have, and likely inspirations for their BeamNG representatives: European hatchback/hot hatch, 1975-1980 (Volkswagen Golf/GTI, Fiat 127) Late 60's muscle car (Pontiac GTO, Dodge Charger) Minivan (Dodge Caravan, Pontiac Trans Sport) Early, sporty, off-road capable crossover (Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4) Porky, decadent modern crossover (BMW X5, Volkswagen Atlas) Hybrid electric sedan (Toyota Prius, Honda Insight) Classic Italian front-engine, 2+2 GT (Ferrari Daytona, Lamborghini Espada) Modern supercar (Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren P1) Dedicated electric vehicle (Tesla Model S, Fisker Karma) Pre-war car, hot rod (Ford Model A, 1941 Chevrolet) i gotta ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long Soviet luxo-barge (ZIL-41041, GAZ Chaika) European cab-over semi (Scania, Ford F-MAX) Thanos car (Thanos car)
I think an early 2000s Swedish liftback and a mid 2000s South Korean subcompact (sedan, wagon, or hatchback) would be nice "filler" cars.
I know that I'm a little late to the answer on this one, but for the purposes of Beamng, I consider any car where production began on or after 2000 to be 'modern'. I would specifically like to see a car where production began sometime around 2004, as there were lots of interesting things going on in the auto industry at the time. DaimlerChyrsler was still a thing happening, American sports cars started to go back to their muscular roots, and it seemed that everyone from VW with their first New Beetle to Ford with their Thunderbird to Chevrolet with their SSR and HHR to Toyota with their FJ Cruiser was on a retro-inspired design kick. Drive-by-wire came in most cars, and it seemed like everyone was cooking up some kind of overengineered design for the future, from electronically-controlled gearboxes (Audi) to some of the first hybrid and fully electric drivetrains. Then the 2008 recession hit, with all of its attendant impacts on the auto industry across the globe. Volvo went from being owned by Ford to being owned by Geely, and started reimagining everything to the point where it started releasing 3-cylinder cars in 2014. It was a really weird time to be making cars. As an unrelated aside, could you maybe make sure to release some more concrete info on that mystery car before the speculation gets further entrenched in a rabbit hole? I remember the mess from the last time that happened...
If they don't add some upfits to the D-series or H-series when they rework it, that would really suck. The D and H series are perfect platforms for so many upfits. Flatbeds, welding rigs, trays, or even a brush fire truck upfit would be perfect! https://www.beamng.com/threads/d-series-flatbed-tray.63235/
once again, don’t forget about the unused tow truck for the d-series that’s in the game files. I wonder if it’s going to be included with the d-series overhaul?
Its not late, the more opinions I get the easier for me to match my ideas with community expectations for further work. No info for now, I hope everyone here will be calm and polite to wait for next hint.
this is good to know. I didnt really process the fact that the dev team might actually take the communities general wishes and make them a reality. i knew it, but never thought about it, you know? As for what I am hoping for, I really dont care lol. Something something 5 cylinder
Am I the only person who doesn't like the hint system? I feel much more anticipation when I know what I'm waiting for and what I can do with it.
