on the topic of the new car, I wonder if it's something else offroad-oriented, perhaps a modern american pickup truck (or maybe an Aus/SA/Eu size truck, like a hilux/ranger) with a raptor-style version?
Has it been confirmed that it’s an all new vehicle coming in the near future, or is it just the new bajopper?
Personally waiting for the Grid small, pure update. Can't wait to see what the devs are going to add to it! Also wondering if the D series pickup will finally come to fruition now that its getting a upgrade.
A good offroad-oriented vehicle would be a pretty good candidate since Utah will also have offroad trails.
My original thought was that they were altered versions of the wheels which shall not be named, which were reportedly removed after copyright issues: ( @IAchievedBacon knows the ones) But on further reflection, everything from the number of spokes to the tread pattern is different. These new ones look like they'll be here to stay! Also, did anyone else notice the shocks going through the hood, the cut-down fender flares, and the window nets? That last one really excites me. I've been thinking that most of the race car configs in the game could use window nets.
Honestly I'm wondering how much is left of the factory Hopper. It looks like not much more than the doors and front facia are stock. It's great to see such a heavily modified car in the official game; this could set a nice precedent for track cars in terms of how extreme they can get.
if the D-series is getting an overhaul with new parts added, similar to the Hopper. mind if I make this suggestion?
About utah, i am kind of scared to drive fast in these very rocky areas because the tires might pop on the rocks themselves.
another thing I was wondering about, what's the story behind the "423 megathrust" engine in the burnside? when it was first added, I thought it was simply a 423 out of the barstow/bluebuck, with the rocker covers off the 313ci, as no factory configs used it. but considering it has a completely different name ("megathrust" as opposed to "ultrathrust" in the bubu/barstool), this leads me to believe it is an original burnside engine, though no IRL american cars of the era had engines that big, with the biggest I could find being cadillac's 365ci v8.
Maybe it's from a later Burnside model? Either way, this name sounds like a self-parody. "Megathrust"? For real, devs?
I fink, that in new update we get: Update of: UTA, Gavril (H,D-series and Roamer), Ibishu Hopper, and if it’s all it’ll be the worst update of BeamNG!
Well, seeing as you don’t know what’s even in the update yet, it seems pretty early to call this ‘the worst update of BeamNG.’
