That's perfectly on topic. I kind of wonder how that could be made to work though. There are a lot of things that happen when the battery starts to go. Every piece of the electrical system from the headlights to the starter motor is eventually affected. I think that it might be possible if the electrical system of the car was coded like the drivetrain is, making certain components dependant on others. A bad alternator might lead to a bad battery, then to bad lights and starting difficulties. Parts like the dashboard lights could be set up to check for a minimum 'voltage' in the system before operating.
