on the topic of the Five Cylinder Sound: The car sounds like its turbocharged as its a bit more silent than a normal 5cyl is also it does sound when changing gear like a DCT so what cars have turbo 5cyl with DCT´s? Audis RS3´s and TTRS´s so my guess would be a modern ETK or it could be a Ford Focus ST from the second gen it doesnt have a DCT but a Turbo 5CYL Engine
Will there at least be an option to turn the old graphics on? Or maybe even the old pre-1.0 vehicle sounds?
The vehicle sounds can be returned with mods, I know that there was at least 1 mod which added the old Covet sounds.
huh... Adaptive suspension? Im still thinking modern SUV. However we lost our largest lead on narrowing it down without the engine sounds.
absolutely nobody: old covet: nEEEYEYYEHOOOOOOOOWWWWRHHHHH *chunk* WEEEEEEooooooehwhhwhwhhwRRRRHRHRHHRHHR it legitimately sounded like a blender.
I cant really relate as I came to BeamNG in one of the 1.10 hotfixes, so I never experienced the old sounds. OT: I've noticed that we haven't really got much hints of the new(?) car. With the Wentward DT40L, we got an inside picture then we found a full picture of the bus in a German newspaper. With the Autobello we got a picture of its engine. With the Bluebuck we saw it in the background of a video. Now I am guessing we will get another teaser shot soon. (What I didn't mention is the fact that we didn't get a Grand Marshall teaser but that was different.)
Wait, a local newspaper ran an article about the game and they hid a teaser in the article?????? thats fucking awesome
It was an interview with TDev published on their website. Look up some old videos, the car sounds were all the same blender motor sound for a long time.
Speaking about that newspaper article, in it Tdev claimed that the game would be done "This year or next". That was back in early 2018, so if that is still true then we would be nearing release. Original Text: Translated: Also in the 0.15 changelog, it is stated "Thanks for the awesome year 2018, on to career mode in 2019". We are reaching the end of 2019. I would not be surprised if 0.18 does not come out until December. If they're adding some form of career mode, it will likely be a much larger update than usual (even compared to the relatively massive 0.17 update), therefore it would probably take longer to develop.
Most modern cars have adaptive suspensions, if not all of them. Don't forget we have ETK K-series, 800 and SBR4. Maybe we'll get modes for them - comfort, sport, track etc.
