After seeing a load of pointless reviews, here's my way to put an end to it and make reviews more useful to the author and people who want an honest opinion about the mod. So if you give a mod 5 stars, you will NEED to list 5 pros and you will have the option to give extra commentary. if you give a mod 4 stars, you will NEED to list 4 pros and 1 con also you will have the option to give extra commentary. if you give a mod 3 stars, you will NEED to list 3 pros and 2 cons also you will have the option to give extra commentary. if you give a mod 2 stars, you will NEED to list 2 pros and 3 cons also you will have the option to give extra commentary. if you give a mod 1 stars, you will NEED to list 1 pro and 4 cons also you will have the option to give extra commentary. Everything I say up here will be in a predefined form so no user will be able to deviate from it. Another thing that needs to be fixed is the rounding, a mod by @NinetyNine! had 125 5 star ratings and 1 3 star rating, the website rounded it to 4.5 stars. I calculated the average and came to the result that it was 4.99.
I can agree on that last point. It's infuriating to have one bad review that bumps down the whole thing. And because the rating is based off all reviews instead of the ones for the latest version only, their bad review will leave it stuck at 4.5 stars even if you fix whatever their problem was. If you look at the list of mods, they're ALL 4.5 stars because there will always be one bad review, and it's usually something like this:
