Do you mean reinstalling the game? If so, no not yet. The file, yes, but I'm still getting some fatal lua error. Edit: A day later now, and it works! It probably just required a restart from the game! And I should add this is the first time I downloaded this mod.
Are you sure you have the most recent file & got rid of the old one? I just grabbed it & don't get any errors from either config.
You should put nodes all across the runners where tires would be so we can node cars to the trailer. love the mod tho!
It'd be neat to make it so that we can connect several of these in a row, like a car-carrying road train.
To anyone who hasn't seen, I have made a smaller gooseneck car trailer that does work with trucks and their fifth wheels. It's not two level and much smaller but of massively better quality, and will have a small throwback to this trailer offering the same old red colour also present with this. It's very close to completion and will be released in just a few days! https://beamng.com/threads/grant-gooseneck-wedge-car-trailer.98337/
so when i am trying to attach the trailer to the t-series, the trailer wont show the little colored round things so that i can attach my trailer. is it me or the mod thx
Only the kingpin variants can be used with the T-series, however when you're using it, all you need to do is align it and reverse on and it should attach by itself if you're on the newest versions of the game
Sorry to bump an old tread but im very curious to know if your car carrier trailer is compatible / working in 0.33 ? I've tried your new trailer that you've made after this one ( love the quality and attention to details of it !) but I do encounter some difficulties with the manual ramps loading / unloading system using the node grabber and it seems like this one have an automated ramp system ... thanks !
Thank you very much for your reply , I'll give it a try after work ! Love your work btw Also , do you think it's possible to " improve " the last car trailer you did , the one with the manual ramps ? Maybe you can use the rear folding ramp slot in the parts menu and add another option for some kind of unfolding ramp activated by a trigger for an easy loading / unloading process ? Or you will need to redo the while trailer to add this feature ? ( automatic ramps )
I'm busy with life but I've stated before that I want to experiment with a sort of semi-automated ramp method that won't be as realistic but it will be at least simpler to use, if I ever have time and motivation for that I will be experimenting with it. Won't need an entire redo but it will need some clever thinking as I will not be adding foldable ramps to it as these types of trailers just don't have that
