Can't remember which one of the mods, but from repo, look for offroad and more parts, get them all, there is good stuff
I think engine inertia might be bit much. If you rev V10 mod engine and then play this to compare, in mod rev change is much slower which is usually because of too much inertia. (from 2:47 onwards) Also I noticed that in pickup folder there is barstow_engine_v10.jbeam
I'll play with it once I will have some time. The files where there just so I could start with the pickup and van easier.
Exams have been taken care of, so I'm back to modding again! I've gotten all of the new rims to work properly due to help from @Nadeox1 . Now the pain of actually making configs... If anyone has any ideas on what configs I should make, or I could upload the unfinished mod right here and let you make the configs you want
That feeling when you clear out the stuff from the documents>beamng>vehicles folder to make it easier to locate the thumbnails for the configs and you remove all of the configs... Sorry, no update today
Found the configs Apparently shift+delete puts stuff into the recycle bin And I wondered why I have so much crap on the C-Drive
All of the configs for the new update are done, now writing all of the boring .json files and it will be ready for upload.
Ai'Torror updated V10 Car pack with a new update entry: Insane trucks and SUVs Read the rest of this update entry...
OMG the V10 helps alot on towing heavy trailers, even with 6,3 tons loaded, no problem for this heavy beast of an engine
It has over 1200hp and a lot of torque, so sure it is going to make accelerating easier. I actually forgot to downgrade the dually custom config to 1000hp, but I guess the stage 2 turbo works fine to.
Don't know if this has been touched on or not, but I've found a problem that the Burnside has (haven't bothered with other vehicles TBH). Quick lil' video demo'ing the problem is linked below.
I'll fix it in a moment. --- Post updated --- Here is the fixed version. It will be on the repo once mods approve it.
Stage 2 turbos and high load over a longer period of time? If yes, that's caused by the headers actually catching on fire. It is a known problem that happenes with stage 4 supercharged V8 too. I might look into the code if there is something about the ignition temperature or sth.
Just make the headers from Adamantium or something and it will be fine. Just don't fiddle around with the horsepower, it's just perfect.
