WIP Beta released Valo City 0.79

Could you please show some screenshots of what's happening? I have never heard about this issue before, latest update shouldn't break anything and I tested it myself as well.

Very strange.

First, are you using the latest version of both the game & the map?
Second, have you tried the map with no other mods installed?

I ask because it works just fine on my end.

its fixed now. had to delete the redownload. i think when i got it my wifi was flipping out so it probably half downloaded the files

 

clear your cache when you launch the game that usually works

 

this is a bit weird,
when downloading from the repo, it doesnt show in listed maps, also doesnt show in my repo folder

 

Any plans to try adding the dynamic light toggle stuff that some new maps have now?

 

I know i'll catch some hate for rez'ing a old thread, but could some one get this working in 0.33 and possibly.. just possibly re texture it with some higher quality textures for a refresh? this is a great street drifting map and its a shame it no longer loads in due to the 0.33 update(i suspect this because it broke alot of other mod maps)

 

I don't have any issue loading it on 0.33?
Clear your cache and try again. As far as textures go, you can download HD Valo mods for SLRR and replace the textures yourself, the mod folder is structured in a way it should be pretty straight forward.

Sadly in version 0.34 this map crashes the game. Anyone else having this problem?

 

Nope, works just fine for me.

 

Curious... I cleared cache, uninstalled the mod, disabled several mods and it's still the same with error code 0x00001.
Edit:
I ultimately increased the graphics level of the game and this way the game no longer crashes on me, I usually play with the lowest graphics possible and currently with this map it didn't allow me to do so, hence the error. After a while with a lot of patience I can finally enjoy Valo City again.

 

I play on high/ultra with a pimax VR headset and having the graphics cranked as i usually do still resulted in many many crashes trying to load in(given we were playing it on a MP server) but after the trouble it gave me i couldnt easily join any other mod maps on single player or MP anymore forcing me to do a clean install of windows(I tried to deep clean/old version cache clear before i went to uninstall all beamNG files and related temp/appdata files then reinstall beamNG still to get stuck trying to load into any non vanilla map..)



i'd really like to play this map again since im an avid sim drifter and this map is perfect for getting on with the boys and doing some proper street skids- also i'd totally donate still if the person who ported this might give it a remaster(just textures wise- heck if world editor could be used and some offroad elements could be added this map outside the city it would have it all)
