Vanilla (Official) Airplanes?

Yes, I am aware of Airplane mods like Joelvb's North American B-25 Mitchell, Stoat Muldoon's Messerschmitt ME262 and Dummiesman's Antonov AN-12B. And sadly, a few mods aren't just enough.

But i would honestly love to see actually official Planes by the developers of Beamng.Drive.

I would probably like to see some General Aviation Planes (Probably inspired by planes like the Piper J-3 Cub, Cessna 172 and Cirrus SR20) or some Military Fighter Jets (something like the North American F-86 Sabre or General Dynamics F-16) I'll be very pleased to have a Hirochi Fighter plane if you know what i mean.

I love flying around in Beamng Worlds but i want to have vanilla aircraft because sometime the Aircraft Mods we have now would become unsupported/outdated in our unpredictable game future. So having a Vanilla Plane that is frequently fixed would be very nice.

I know this game is MEANT for land vehicles but i think some Vanilla Aircraft would be great to have in the game.

Let me know what you guys think. I also would like to see what planes you would like to see in the game.

 

That actually sounds like a great idea! Isn’t @Stoat Muldoon a dev? What doesn’t he/she port his plane to official game?

 

He probably needs permission to add the plane or something.

If we do get Vanilla Planes there should be at least scenarios where you fly from one place to another in a limited number of time or if you play a fighter plane, you get into a Dogfight Battle Royale or something.

 

This sentence makes absolutely no sense as you're contradicting yourself. Planes will never be a thing simply because of the name of the game itself.

Sorry, what i meant is that driving cars is the main part of the game and there isn't many planes in the game.

Mainly because the game is called BeamNG.drive, not BeamNG.fly

 

I would love to see a Beamng.Fly

 

We'll have to wait and see, but I honestly wouldn't expect any of that

 

I think that's a great idea. There's also a static plane in the Utah map, so maybe there will be an official plane in the future? I would love to see an official plane in Beam, to go along with land vehicles.

 

That plane is a simple prop to add to the immersion. Also, BeamNG.drive.

 

The real waiting game is for BeamNG.Kite

 

I think the devs stated more than once, that anything else than land vehicles won't be officially ingame
