Vehicle Categories & Sorting

DISCLAIMER: I'm not sure if this already has been posted here. I'm sorry if it has. I have looked. Maybe the devs are already working on it or has already done it. I don't know.

In the vehicles folder, you should be able to make a new folder inside it and name it something like: "Official vehicles", it should then in the vehicle menu (ingame) make a new category. You should then be able to put vehicles in the folder, and they'd be sorted in the car menu. Secondly there should be alphabetical sorting for the vehicles (or at least an option for it). The categories themselves should also be sorted alphabetically.

I have far to many vehicles and searching through them is a nightmare. I completely agree.

 

I'm up for that. It would make things so much easier.

 

That would make it a hundred times easier!! Scrolling through all the cars is annoying.

i thought of something though,
since all menus are being converted to html(i think they are, i coulda sworn i read it somewhere), maybe someone who knows html could make it. Hopefully though since the devs are redoing menus, they redo the car select menu also.

I agree with logo, a sorting function would be amazing, I too am beginning to mass up cars and have known myself to spend five minutes finding the one I would like to use. Maybe they should do it like the map menu, with an image so you can easily find it.

 

It could probably be done pretty easily...... but I don't know how.

It'd be nice to have a similar sorting system for the maps; E.g. desert, Offroad, track, city, rural, urban. (maybe not that many (could get too complicated)).
