Maybe, but it is visually closer to Torino, even comes with annoyingly small trunk that has small opening, which reviewers of Torino did complain at 1968 car magazines, I think it perhaps blend of the the two, it does not work much as a Mustang equivalent for me, more like Torino equivalent.







Update: comparing to Mustang from same year magazine you can see Barstow is nothing alike a Mustang compared to how much it is alike of Torino visually, mechanicals etc. I haven't bothered to compare, it does not matter as I make my own mechanicals

Sometimes when making vehicle, one can have something in mind and ends up still with something else, I think that Barstow's weight for example is closer to Mustang, so that makes me thing it is neither, but a blend, like all cars in BeamNG, something taken from different vehicles that tickle right way of vehicle makers brain.

I think cars can do so: take front from any car , and take rear from other car. For example : take front from ford mustang 1970 , and take rear from chevrolet el camino. Also these parts must be edited , that to not violate license rights. Then piece together these parts.

I really want to see someone make a 1984-89 4Runner, as that is the years with the 22r-te, preferably 88 and forward as those years (Specifically 88) Have the greatest variety in motors (Being 3vze, 22r-te, and 22re). If the actual devs wanted to do something super interesting make something that is an amalgamation of the 4Runner and the Pathfinder. Could look pretty cool and be super fun to drive, and would add in a vehicle where you have to truly worry about rollovers in sharp corners lol.
