Then again, it is possible it could've made a transition from sub-compact to midsize. Also, the Covet was mainly a hatchback, and even if you would want to count the sedan mod for it, it would be smaller than the E70 Corolla. But it could've been called a Covet in another market, so maybe it could've been the predecessor to both? (As the E70 Corolla did also have a few alternate names)
First, no Japanese car went from subcompact to midsize in such a short timespan. Second, the Covet is based on the 'Rolla's competitor, the Honda Civic. Third, the "predecessor to both" idea also has no footing.
Then it cannot be a Covet, as my suggestion doesn't take any inspiration from the Civic, and the only similarity is that they're Japanese sub-compacts.
Actually, that doesn't sound too bad of a idea. Since it's not predating the in-game Miramar, the transition from compact to sub-compact would work fine.
I meant if you took @MrAnnoyingDude 's suggestion about making it midsize (Miramar most likely grew midsize). Two subcompacts in one brand's lineup don't make sense.
Then how come did mid-20th century Fiat have 2 city cars in it's line-up then? (600 and 500) Also, I decided it would be a separate model now, as it won't fit as a Covet (that's more like a Civic), but Pessima is way too off, and Miramar would better fit a vehicle with more luxury elements.
Except 500 and 600 had completely different mechanicals. Why does your car have to be an Ibishu if it doesn't fit in their lineup?
The Miramar seems to be either more Skyline-like, or a Pessima predecessor nameplate (like the real Corona to Camry).
Miramar most likely evolved into two cars: a Pessima successor for Europe (like Avensis/Carina E) and an unrelated sports sedan (like Skyline) for other markets. It is also possible that Pessimas sold in Italy before the model withdrawal from European market used the Miramar name for obvious reasons.
Or it went the real Corona's route, where there still were Miramars in Asia and Oceania, but Europe and America got the Pessima, and Europe also got a smaller midsize sedan.
Like Camry, Pessima was withdrawn from European market at some point, leaving only the smaller sedan (Miramar?). The real Corona's route also led to Europe, where it evolved into Avensis.

TBH, I don't like these name types at all, because Ford and Chevrolet never used these type of names for its cars. Such names could be appropriate for Cadillac-based cars.
