Huh?!? "Ibishu" and "Hirochi" aren't "counterfeit Chinatown speakers" they're the official BeamNG.drive fictional automobile brands, I just put the vehicle model names MatthewStevenGo thought of on at the end. And for the other car brands, I thought of them, and I don't just get them. Hope this answers your question, Mr.AnnoyingDude.

The Sambar doesn't really fit well under the Pigeon name personally. The Sambar isn't a 3-wheeler, nor was it only a kei truck.

    Burnside Special Concept (1990)

    (Renders shown above)

    It is a...
90s American full-size concept sedan/coupe. Mainly inspired by the 50s Special, but with a more modern style to it (though it's not as detailed as it's production form (lasted from 1993 to 2001)).

The retro car fashion was more of an early 00s thing, and at that time, most of US car nostalgia went towards muscle and pony cars, with just a bit going towards hot rods.

Well, there could've been high demand for a new Special though (keep in mind that we haven't really had any other generations of the Special besides the already-existing mid-50s one, so there could've been more generations then the currently existing one). Plus, it could've shared it's frame with the Grand Marshal (which is also a full-size, so it would save Gavril (mainly Burnside) some money with producing a new Special).
Even with that, it barely looks like a Special (besides the taillights, the bumpers, and maybe the indicators below the headlights).

It's not the sort of car folks were nostalgic for in the day.

If it was at least something fast and hot rod-like, like a Thunderbird, it would be warranting a new model.

Didn't the Thunderbird lean more to luxury than sport after some generations? Even the revival (referring to the 11th gen) generation was a luxury vehicle, not a sports vehicle.
Again, the Special might've had more generations than the '53-'54 model. Also, there was retro-styled concepts in the 90s as well, like the Concept One and there was a concept model from 1990 that later lead to the creation of the Prowler concept car, which then went into production form.

    Hello guys,
I think the BeamNG devs should add this as part of a following update: Steam wagons, which were a early type of Lorry, or big rig, or whatever you call them. I think they would be an interesting type of vehicle to drive in BeamNG. What do you think?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_wagon

Also, look up "Steam wagon" on YouTube (Without quotes)!

They were revivals of performance-style vehicles, not stately sedans.

I wouldn't consider the Concept One a "performance-style vehicle" though, considering the Beetle was made to be a people's car (plus, the Herbie and Baja Bug came a couple decades after the Beetle was released).

The Beetle also was no big mundanemobile footnote - it was a small car with a lot of people nostalgic for.

Well, I thought of a theory (might not be the first one with this idea) that the Burnside Special V8 became it's own separate model during the 70s... the V8 (which is in Rig Of Rods).
So the Special does hold some significance in the history of Burnside. It was used as a taxi, a police vehicle, a tuner's choice, a drag vehicle, and even that it wasn't produced for long, it did happen to receive plenty of popularity in the automotive community.

The Burnside might be like an Olds 88 or DeSoto Firedome, that is, a known rodder car, but still isn't the sort of car nostalgia marketers wanted.

But they did have a vehicle they could've made into a new Special in the 90s: Grand Marshal (specifically the Luxe)
When you factor that it's a luxurious variant for the vehicle, it's a full-size, and that they both share similarities like the FR layout, and the engines being only V8s, it would've been easier enough to rebadge it as a Burnside Special and sell it. Basically what Ford did with re-badging the Crown Vic as a luxury vehicle (Town Car).

Making such stuff in the rapidly-shrinking fullsize market would have only been worse.

Then again, Burnside was almost 2 decades away before bankruptcy, so they would've stuck to rebadging pre-existing Gavril vehicles.
Even if they decided to take the plan forward, it wouldn't really last for long (and then would keep the nameplate dead for the rest of the remaining years before the brand would be discontinued).
