I'd actually like to see the predecessor of the Grand Cherokee, the Grand Wagoneer! (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here)
Re: caught more than 60 fish, 35 of them yellowfins (the largest weighing in at 154 pounds) and most of the rest wahoo or yellowtails If I could figure out what you're trying to advertise i would make sure never to buy it
need a vauxhall corsa C just so I can vent my frustration at how terrible it is. Word of advice to anyone contemplating buying a vauxhall/opel vehicle: don't. Family have had 3 of them, all are unreliable pieces of junk.
I would like to see: Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani, Mercedes, Audi, Aston Martin, Bently, Rolls Royce, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Madza, Toyota and maybe a longer list
There are three vehicles i would like to see in this game and i 'll try to justify my choices. I saw very few references about each of these vehicles in this thread (1 or 2 out of 53 pages). 1. A rally car: Most of the official maps (+ the community maps) are suitable (ideal really) for a rally car. Different surfaces (tarmac, gravel, mud, sand) in a single path are ideal for simulating the variety of a rally stage. The BeamNG software is giving us, for the first time in gaming, the possibility to actually pay for our mistakes for driving on the limit. There is of course the obstacle of simulating the three active differentials of a WRC rally car, i hope the developers will implement this in the future. Now that i think of it, they would need to implement a suitable race system for rallying as well. My personal favorite is the Ford Focus WRC or any rally car of the 1999-2002 era (at least something that looks like these because of the licencing issues). View attachment 22633 2. A big plane: I would love to perform a heavy landing (or worst) on a Boeing 737 seeing the wings flexing and various parts fall off or break. I've already seen an airport in one of the community maps but even the official Pure Grid map is perfect for this. I understand the complexity of a project like this but... the BeamNG software has the potential to simulate planes better than any other flight simulator that i know of. View attachment 22634 3. The Christine: Yes, unlikely but there is some potential here. The developers have stated that there will be heavy machinery support in the game, so imagine this scenario: There is a bulldozer (AI) that crashes Christine but if she can get away for about a minute, she repairs herself! Of course Christine could be driven all by herself and you could drive the bulldozer. What's the point of all this (except of that rock'n'roll never dies) you ask? Pure fun i guess. Besides all that, Christine is one of the coolest cars to drive, even without the auto-repair capability. View attachment 22635
Ah, yes. A motorcycle would be great. There is a problem though, i 'll try to explain it, just in case you 're not familiar (or anybody else) with the concept. No game so far was able to simulate properly a motorcycle for a simple reason. The motorcycle is standing on it's own while it moves, the rider has nothing to do with the balance, this is just a myth. The force that keeps the bike standing is called gyroscopic effect and is produced by the rotating wheels. Up to about 40 km/h the rider rotates the steering to the direction he wishes and the bike turns, almost like a car but with deviation for resisting the centrifuge force. After the 40 km/h barrier the gyroscopic effect is too great and takes over, you can only steer the bike by just applying counter-steering. This means that if you push the right handle (or pull the left) you would expect the bike to turn left but no... the bike dives and turns to the right! The fast rotating wheels always want to stand vertically so if you need to keep turning and deviating, you have to apply constant counter-steering. I suggest any of you to try this in a safe environment (empty parking space) at low speeds (at about 50km/h very gently push any of the handles). All of this happens automatically. Even at very low speeds (15km/h), the gyroscopic effect is strong enough to hold up the bike and the rider. We haven't taken into account yet the rider movements which in racing conditions are very important. In low speeds though are insignificant because the rider just follows the bike. If you ride a motorcycle and then ride a jet-ski for the first time... you will know what i mean. For a right turn, you will turn the steering to the right, you will make a right turn but the jet-ski will deviate to the left, like a car. In my first attempt with a jet-ski, it turned to the right and i jumped to the left into the sea! No gyroscopic effects here. In a car the effect is present but since the wheels are fixed on the transverse axis, it does not affect the directivity. Only in the longitudinal axis you can see the effect, when in the air after a jump, pointing upwards if you keep the gas on and nose diving if you brake. Given the fact that the developers want to do things correctly, good luck to them (and the community) with this one... and i hope someone will decide to do it in the future.
Real Monster-Jam monster trucks and stadiums are a must have for this game! Im completely blown away by no body making these yet!!!
I think someone was making Monster Jam trucks but there haven't been any updates for months. I agree, some monster jam trucks and tracks would be fantastic. I remember there were some really good monster jam stuff for rigs of rods from Sim-Monsters .com, hopefully we can get stuff like that in BeamNG.
I just made a new thread on the Sim-Monsters.com forums as a matter of fact. you should go look at it and support it http://sim-monsters.com/index.php?/topic/6523-beamng/
Fictional Cars Hi, I have had a look and cant seem to find anything related to the pictures and i thought that the batmobile, delorean ect would be great cars in the game. I would love to see them and i'd love to hear your suggestions on other fictional cars that should be added. EDIT:I meant the back to the future delorean if nobody noticed
Re: Fictional Cars I'd like to see a factory style 3rd gen Camaro/Trans Am, but KITT is close enough.
Re: Fictional Cars ...as I stated before there's already a vehicle suggestion thread. Please stop spamming the forum with repeat threads.
Re: Fictional Cars There are at least 5 vehicle suggestion threads, 3 of them created in the last fortnight. This is no different from the others. Just use this one: http://www.beamng.com/threads/79-Vehicle-suggestions/page54 Pretty sure I have seen the tumbler and delorean posted in those threads too.
Re: Fictional Cars You do realize the Deloreon is a a real car made my AMC right? This car just had a bit of bodywork done for Back To The Future.
Re: Fictional Cars Yes, tom666 is gonna KILL them for saying the Delorean is fake. Also, isn't it made by AMC?
Re: Fictional Cars Yes i knew that.I was on about the one from back to the future and i have only just realized that its been mentioned but the suggest car forums is too packed and i'm wondering how can anyone choose what car is to be made?
Re: Fictional Cars THe modders make what they want to make so in that regard the suggestions threads are entirely pointless because they dont really influence the modders much. Doesnt matter that they are packed, its cleaner than spamming the forum with umpteen billion duplicate threads.
