1995-2002 ETK S-Series ETK's 4th generation of flagship sedan flavor. The 4th generation S-Series was designed as a chauffeurs excellent driving car, with enough comfort for people in the back. Development originally began in Bremen, ETK's headquarters, in fall of 1988. Total development costs and time were 5 billion Euros and 72 months, with delays taking place due to some engineering setbacks and technology testing due to the "driving and reliability" mindset of the brand. The earliest mules testing the engines were spotted as early as 1990, in camouflaged ETK I-Series'. When the S-Series was unveiled in summer 1994 as a 1995 model year car, it received lots of positive public reaction from both the general public and press. The S-Series debuted with 4 launch trims, the S40i, S40iL, S50i, and the top S50iL.This later expanded to include 2.8 inline-6s, 2.8 3.5 and 4.0 diesels, 3.5 V8s, and 4.5 V8s and a "Ultimate" range topping trim eventually came, as a ultra luxury S-Series that could be customized to whatever the customer wanted. All could be received in a LWB configuration and AWD, except for those equipped with the 2.8 engines. The S-Series later got a refreshed fascia in 1999, including a minor refresh to the engines as well. 382,235 were produced, and official production ended on August 23, 2001. The crew thought for a name and design, They nailed the name "Starlight" They nailed its design 35 days after. A small hood scoop with a body design that looked like a stretched Ibishu Pessima shortened a bit and skinnier. They unveiled it on February 7, 2004 (made up date) at the same car show they revealed their prototype, Then they launched the car on May 10, 2004. They had it put in a bunch of dealerships across japan and a good amount in the USA. People went crazy to buy it since they had seen its design. The dealerships in the US ran out of stock for the car a few months later. Fast forward to present day. The car is being sold for very high prices as they ended production in 2008.
