Reasons why I think a lore friendly Corvair analogue would be a good car 1. The Corvair was hugely influential due to its styling and layout, which a lot of European cars copied like the ZAZ Zaporozhets and NSU Prinz. It also had a huge influence on automotive safety and was one of the first factory cars with a turbocharger, giving it historical significance 2. It was available in a huge amount of body styles and configurations, which would make it extremely versatile in game 3. There is no compact American cars in the game 4. The swing axle suspension would be a unique feature in the game, along with the flat 6 engine with an optional turbocharger and would also allow for huge performance potential 5. The Corvair’s bouncy, oversteer prone handling, with swing axle suspension that tucks in around corners, and a rear weight bias due to the rear engine, would give it extremely fun but sometimes unpredictable handling, especially with a turbocharger
