Been a while since I've done one of these, but I've been dwelling on this idea for a while.

2005-10 Bruckell Rhodium/Soliad Z5/Trace (Inspired by the 2005-10 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5/Pursuit)

Come the mid 00s, Bruckell was in need of replacing their long-time compact offering, the Kingsman, and Soliad was looking to get back into the compact market after the near-fatal mistake of their offering of the Gladius. Enter a new, younger designer, who came up with a sleek, aerodynamic design for both coupe and sedan bodystyles.

New nameplates were also chosen, with Bruckell's version being named Rhodium, while the Soliad version would initially be given the Trace nameplate.

Both models were introduced for the 2005 model year, but the Soliad Trace would initially remain a Canadian and Mexican exclusive model.

The Rhodium would be offered in base 'S' trim, upper 'SE' trim, and high-performance 'Special' trim, which was a nod back to the Moonhawk Special of the late 70s.

The Trace would also offer the base 'S' trim and upper 'SE' trim, but the 'Special' wouldn't be offered, instead a higher output 'Sport' package would be offered on the 'SE' trim.

The engines would be as follow at launch:

2.2 Bruckell DOHC I4 - 150hp/160 lb-ft torque (S and SE trim, both Rhodium and Trace)
2.4 Bruckell DOHC High-Output I4 - 180hp/170 lb-ft torque (optional on Rhodium SE, optional Sport package on Trace SE)
2.0 Bruckell Turbo DOHC I4 - 210hp/210 lb-ft torque (Special trim, exclusive to the Rhodium)

In 2007, the Rhodium would gain a high-level 'SE Luxe' trim, while the Trace would be offered for the first time in the US, but badged as the Soliad Z5 and only offered in a coupe bodystyle. That year, the 2.2 DOHC I4 would also get a power bump, now putting out 155hp/165 lb-ft of torque.

For 2008, the 2.4 DOHC High-Output I4 would see a power drop but a torque increase, now rated at 175hp/180 lb-ft torque, and a new fuel-economy 'FE' trim would be added to the Rhodium lineup, slotted below the 'S' trim. The Rhodium 'Special' would also see a serious power bump, now rated at 265hp/270 lb-ft torque.

2009 saw the end of the 2.4 DOHC High-Output I4, and also saw a new 2.2 DOHC I4 replace the older one, now rated at 165 hp/175 lb-ft torque. Lackluster sales saw the Z5 dropped from the Soliad lineup in the US, and the Trace coupe was also dropped from the Canadian and Mexican market, leaving just the Trace sedan for the 2009 and 2010 model year.

The 2010 model year saw no major changes, as it would be the final year for both models. Bruckell would replace the Rhodium with a new Korean-designed model for the 2011 model year, carrying the nameplate over, while Soliad would once again exit the compact market, with it's drive further upmarket, being more luxury-oriented and less performance-oriented, allowing Bruckell to focus on mass-market and performance products.

I don't normally use traffic. When I do, my fps drops from 55ish to 30ish. With simplified traffic on West Coast.
    Should I use vulcan?

    Hello BeamNG team and community,

While playing with the Bastion Police, I thought it would be great to see a modern SUV added to the game — something inspired by a 2024/2025 Ford Explorer, ideally with a police variant.
A recent Chevrolet Suburban–style vehicle (2023–2026) would also fit perfectly into the lineup, especially for law‑enforcement or utility configurations.

Just a small suggestion, but I think these types of modern SUVs could add a lot of variety to the game’s fleet.
Thanks for the amazing work you continue to do on BeamNG.drive!

Hi, I've been playing beamng for a while and I've noticed that, more after more updates, beamng is getting better afterall.
since this forum is about suggestion...I quite do have a few suggestion...and its about revamping, vehicles or machines..you name it.

Lets talk about revamp....first is wentward, I feel like beamng had done the revamp but it was not thoroughly done. I've checked the vehicles part selector and it reminds me of V.0.18 of beamng...normal and basic parts labelled. I am just saying that it stands out clearly odd from rest of the vehicles in beamng...yes I know mods exist but please revamp wentward thoroughly any time when you, Beamng Team are ready.

now we talk about something different or...out of the box. Vehicles...I feel like beamng is doing so far so great in adding new vehicles and they are amazing, truly. But I've also seen that...there are no planes...yes no aviation vehicles...there were few or more modders who discontinued the making of famous or outstanding looking aircrafts....they left it and meanwhile others? They are busy meshslapping other aircrafts into either avro arrow, me 262 and an12b....what i am saying is...i play wt and ms flight sim and beamng a lot....I just hope the beamng team can look into making of aircrafts...but lets note this that maps are not as spacious as italy, automation test track, gridmap, utah, west coast and johnson valley, so yeah i know it might take time to create mods...which i find myself inexperienced in it but yeah I am hoping to look forward to it...

I also have another suggestion....I really love seeing 8x8 trucks too...big wheels, hard suspension and heavy loads behind it....like the MAZ...or kamaz...I like European coach buses like Scania, man, Marcopolo and so on... why? it looks stunning and cool looking bus that have comfort airbag suspension, different from the wentward...I think there is already one and its called Kia Granbird...but again its a meshslap of Wentward which I hate it a lot...and lastly...WW1, WW2 tanks...i mean beamng multiplayer can be chaotic....but..since this game is also marked as destruction...please consider it...

So Beamng Team...if your looking at this, I thank you for making the game better and I hope you are looking forward to it.
