Same rules as the other suggestions thread, but I'm putting a poll on what people want. POLL RULES: Select 2 years and 2 types of vehicles. Don't select 3 or 4 years or 3 or 4 vehicles If you would like to, you are able to change your votes at any time! This will probably be deleted but I don't care
I do not know what other thread u are talking aboutbut I am suggesting a 1998 geo metro hatch or sedan
Yes you can suggest cars here too, but the poll is to get a more accurate average of what people want. The other thread is thousands of posts saying random stuff.
Voted for a 60s fullsize, to the tune of old Continentals or Imperials, but a 70s personal luxury coupe was also onnthe agenda.
Ill add luxury to the list! Forgot about that one! --- Post updated --- You can also change your vote at any time if you would like too!
I voted for a 2000s fullsize (thinking along lines of a Charger combined with an Impala) and a 2010s pickup (generic new American truck with the top tier engine being a V8 and not a TT V6).
Honestly, it needs a deeper reworking: - Decades - 1880s to 2020s, - Types - passenger car, sports car, minivan, van/other commercial, crossover/SUV/pickup/offroad. - Sizes - micro, mini, small, compact, midsize, executive, fullsize small, fullsize large, supersize, - Market placement - budget, low-end, midrange, high-end, ultra-luxury, - Body style - sedan, hatchback, wagon, coupe, convertible, landaulet, buggy, fastback, liftback, shooting brake, minivan, panel van, passenger van, step van, chassis, pickup, crossover, SUV, limousine, hearse, - Side doors - 2, 3, 4, - Country of origin - USA, Japan, Germany, UK, Italy, France, Sweden, Spain, Korea, China, Malaysia, Australia, USSR or former members, Czechoslovakia or former members, Poland, other, - Propulsion - gasoline, diesel, hybrid, electric, hydrogen, steam. I think some 10 or so options will have to be markable. --- Post updated --- Edsels were mostly late 50s cars.
I do agree, but I personally feel that if you don't follow the rules it would cause a lot of confusion. I'm just gonna keep it how it is for now.
I've made a poll on this topic some time ago, but I didn't include the countries we already had a car from (except Italy, which I mistakenly added). You could select three options. As you see, Soviet and British cars came first (23 votes), the second place was divided between French and Australian (16) and the third one went to Swedish ones (10). Nobody voted for Romania and Italy. The poll in this one gives very weird options. What would I vote for if I wanted a midsize luxury wagon, since all these three traits are divided into three different types? Anyway, I chose 2010s micro (think Opel Corsa) and a 2000s fullsize (think BMW 7-series).
I chose a 70s/80s compact. Maybe something like the econobox Reliant Kitten? (Only chose 2 decades for 1 car) Wouldn't small basically be "sub-compact"?
Subcompact is an US term. And I think you mean the Reliant Kitten, which is a 70s car through and through.
I suppose "micro" is something smaller than A-segment, like Peel P50? Fastback and shooting brake are not "real" body styles. A single model can have up to four of these.
Yes. Fastback, unlike a sedan or coupe, is two-box. And a shooting brake is to a wagon what a coupe or fastback is to a sedan. Multiple-choice test.
While we're at HD stuff, we may add tanks, APCs, buses, coaches... Heck, we can even go into bikes, boats, helis and planes! (I'll actually think of a poll for all that)
The car is a economy car from what Wikipedia says. It's probably smaller than a compact (which would be a sub-compact in US terms).
