DOF and HDR are still not saving (off), when selected to do so. Would someone please explain exactly what the difference between stable and
    experimental currently is?? Thanks!

currently, stable and experimental are completely the same, there is no difference. That might change again in the future.

Well okay. Isn't that a bit redundant when it comes to the overhead of managing two identical builds or could it be a quicker way to release smaller
and more refined updates? I could see that happening.

Congrats to Goosah and Masa by the way!!!

No, actually, its easier: we just build one version right now and 'set' it to be used for what branch later on. We'll see how it works out in the future :)

Got the sound issue as well, here.. cant seem to get the audio options to save, keeps jumping back to the same values, 0.2 master and 0.0 on the rest. I can hear the trees and wind in the main menu, but nothing once i'm actually in game. Any way to force save settings?

Indeed. I've learned having two complete sets of the game is handy when screwing around with things.

The new sunburst rally lights don't work, but I'm guessing they just aren't done yet. They look awesome though.

We don't yet have a "foglight" electrics source, nor a button for it... but when we do... :D

I am not sure if it is a recent thing or not, but I loved the fact that T75 box doors open after you hit the park button! :) Apart from that, great job on the update guys.

(SOLUTION) I removed the BeamNG.drive folder in My Documents. (backup game first!) don't know how to save settings though.

Everyone with bad fps or stuttering gameplay try enabling the vsync. I don't know why but the game feels a lot smoother for me with vsync turned on.

I love the new cubemap reflections. The only thing missing for even better visuals is to tone down those speculars, as they are way to bright right now in my opinion...here a quick screenshot after moving some sliders in the material editor:

This is obviously just a quick "fix"...it could look much, much better :)

The new Sunburst RS is really mean looking! Great work on that guys!
Pretty fast and dangerous too :D

What exactly has changed in the input system since the previous stable release? The game recognizes my controller, the input test indicates that it is working properly, and my custom inputmap is loaded without a problem. However, it seems that the values from the joystick are never actually reaching the inputmap. Was another step added?

Apart from this, I've had no problems. Great work, guys!

Are you guys refining FFB? For me, whenever I switch vehicles, or add another one, my wheel seems to keep the "pull" from the previous vehicle, and after switching vehicles multiple times, my wheel just wants to turn in one direction and it becomes very difficult to control the vehicle.

Other than that, you guys are doing an amazing job currently, and I applaud you for your recent spurt in development speed! Keep it up!

Any other suggestions to resolve the issue I have? Any other files anywhere I could delete, settings to change or disable to solve this? I have done 2 steam uninstalls and still wont load a map?

I don't know if this has been said before or if it is normal, but the jbeam of the D15's rear wheels doesn't seem to be aligned properly with the model of the wheels. The Pigeon and the H-Series seem to have this problem as well. The moonhawk has this too, but has it's rear wheels jbeam better aligned with the model than the others.

I apologize if thise has already been brought up...but when I found this it already had 7 pages in it and I can't read each on right now.

I mean no offence to the devs but I play the game on the lowest settings...because I have to and I get good FPS and the game has never looked really bad...but now, why does it look like it is a cheaper game from the early 2000s to me? I always liked the way it did and now it is...not as good. And the tail lights, headlight...any lights are extremely dim. Also because of the way it looks it seems more fake now, there was a slight bit of realism lost.

Also love the current place holder space bar menu. :p

(Left is old, middle and right is new)

Update GPU driver and then install DirectX9. Delete BeamNG cache from documents. Uninstall the game. Install the game with antivirus disabled (shouldnt make a difference on the steam version, but I'd do it anyway, made a difference on older versions).
