How do I lower the force feedback? It's killing me at this update, and I need to get it lowered. I saw in the blog post something about you can change ffb now, but I can't see it in controls > Force feedback. Help?
One quick suggestion. On the new chase cam, the left and right views should be flipped IMO. With other games that have a tighter camera like that, if I move the analog to the left I look left and see the right side of the car and vice versa. Right now in Beam I move it to the left and see the left side of the car, looking right.
The soft bushes are a nice solution to avoid getting stuck on trees. And the new camera feels amazing. The new map and car are awesome. For some reason i can now spawn 6 vehicles with 30 fps instead of 15. Its like every update keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work!
Any BeamNG developer, Since the new 0.5.4 update, is it possible for us to create custom camera configurations using lua? I see seperate files for each mode (top down, chase, etc..)
Cool, that was quick. Question, with the new camera system, is it possible to have the camera be a physical entity so that it can't clip through walls or the ground? It's a small touch but it adds a nice feeling of refinement when you can't see void space in a game.
yes, it is Just improved the support for this, please have a look at http://www.beamng.com/threads/custom-camera-modes-possible-with-0-5-4-1.24111/#post-354401
Step 1. (If using Logitech) Open Logitech Profiler Step 2. Go to FFB Step 3. Go to a percentage you like (i use 10)
Good to hear again. One last question since I haven't looked into it much. Is it possible to adjust the position of the new chase camera with console commands with it being LUA? I like how it's more rigid but the car is a bit too low for my liking.
