got the full hydraulic system working front and rear, new meshes need to be added but other than that its done --- Post updated --- most are already on the car in the latest version available, the only things that dont open at the minute are the doors
ive been working on it some more, a more inline configuration is in the works with a friend doing the custom paint job for it
getting some of the skins done, this is the only finished one so far. ive even got the deep metallic flake embedded in the paint for extra detail
got sick of working on one of the new low rider liveries so i made a short little cinematic of the most finished version of the car
Hey there, one of the best Automation mods I've ever seen (and used), one problem. Inline 6 sounds like a V8. I haven't used the mod previously. Other than that, I really enjoy it! Maybe it could have working license plates like non-Automation vehicles do (US and EU sized). Also, any possibility to recreate the Main Force Patrol vehicles from the first Mad Max? Would be really nice to see.
yeah ill swap out the inline 6 engine sound to something more accurate, its a really old engine sample sent from a friend. and as for the mad max reference i kinda already have one with the Interceptor config. (and yes vanilla plates are coming)
Thanks. Wondering if you're going to add yellow rear license plates from JorgePinto, as well as the custom sizes from RealVector (like Mercosur, European microstates, etc).
ive been spending a little bit of time now learning how to use substance painter, using my little knowledge to remake the textures of some of the tires, i plan on redoing all of them in this update. i included a before and after to show what ive been able to do
Looking great! I'm just wondering if we can use normal license plates just like the non-automation BeamNG mods in this update?
That's good to hear. Hopefully we can choose from EU and US sizes as well. Maybe look into JorgePinto's yellow rear license plates for UK plates, as well as custom license plate sizes from RealVector. I really do appreciate your work!
Hey Furious, IDK what you changed, but the AI's unable to drive the TA/Stock Car configs now - they were teetering on the edge pre-latest patch, but now they lose control practically everytime they try & drive it now. The cars are definitely more slidy (but controllable by the player, mostly), so that handling change is hitting the AI HARD Any chance (if there isn't already) that there might be adjustable suspension in the future?
yeah i nerfed tire grip into the ground as they were basically need for speed tires previously, adjustable suspension is coming eventually (you can thank my friend crashing out over the tire values for this change) it also helped the rear suspension some as with the stupid high grip tires the rear had a very high chance of lifting the inner rear wheel, not ideal on a rwd car --- Post updated --- vanilla plates are now usable (as of the current minute i do not plan on adding modded plate support)
