    So, I've monitored my VRAM usage and apart from it being close to max constantly there is nothing much out of the ordinary and I've had this happen on games previously.
    I've included my log below to see if there's anything else that may be causing this.

    System Specs-
    OS - Windows 11 23506
    Resolution - 1920x1080
    CPU - R5 5600
    GPU - RX 6700 10G
    Memory - 24576MB

    consider disabling mods if you have any mods that may be problematic, that has happened to me. If you have swapped gpu like from Nvidia or Intel to AMD, consider DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller by Wagnard Soft) if any logs from Event Viewer suggests driver issues. (and if it happened to other games too)
    But do consider vulkan is still in WIP stages, although it should be stable to work on most GPUs since the last Vulkan update. (I use it more often now too)

    @Car_Killer Do you have any ideas regarding my issue, or not really?

    @Mashmanlh345 and I are having the same crash I'm pretty sure. I also use vulkan because of the massively increased performance on AMD. I also tested this in a fresh install on my steam deck and the same crash occurs. To reproduce on the steam deck:

    * Configure BeamNG.drive to use Vulkan (with the "-gfx vk" launch option flag)
    * Launch new BeamNG.drive game
    * Click Freeroam
    * Select Jonson Valley
    * wait a while for all the textures and stuff to be cached
    * attempt to drive forward

    Everything loads up correctly and look good until you attempt to move the vehicle, at which point the game crashes, followed by steam crashing, and the deck eventually reboots after ~5 minutes.

    Question about Vulkan API. Can you still enable MultiGpu through the API (even if its not Supported by normal means?) Since i know you used to be able to. And i need a quick solution for more performance in Beamng. Thanks! (planning to use 5600XT Multi Gpu)

    Oh and for some reason im getting worse frames on the 5600xt and Vulkan than DX11. Is that normal?

    Im on a RTX 3060, also get better FPS on Vulkan and prefer it over DX11 but i also get random crashes after a certain time of playing. I updated my GPU drivers but ive had this problem for months now. Shouldnt be a VRAM issue for me considering i have 12GB of it. I get a *BeamNG.drive unexpectedly closed* error code with it though.

    Please report issues only from BeamNG 0.30 from now on :)

    Updated known issues are in the first post.

    pretty sure you need an engine to drive upload_2023-9-20_12-4-14.png
    all I did was load one of my configs and the scintilla became invisible except for the interior steering wheel and pedals, appears to be because of the Custom (DCT) config, I am currently in the vulkan unstable version, this is what the Custom (DCT) Config looks like for me upload_2023-9-20_12-10-42.png
    I can see why vulkan is currently experimental though the strange thing is the Gravil D Series loads completely fine: View attachment 1063048
    though it could just be because I modified the Gravil D Series, these visual glitches are actually funny. Driver Information: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, upload_2023-9-20_12-23-51.png
    more information:
    Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz
    Installed RAM: 16.0 GB
    System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
    update: just realised, this could be because of an issue my E: drive experienced, basically it got angry and removed all my permissions and windows tried to fix it but then I canceled the fix, I think thats why that happened because my E: Drive got corrupted slightly, and because in another game Garry's Mod some cars are also like that, which is probably why this happened sorry for potentially creating a false bug report as at the time I didn't think it was because of my E: Drive.

    I for some reason am only getting ~10fps in vulcan mode no matter what graphics settings I have, even in safe mode

    specs:
    Ryzen 7 3800X, 32GB RAM and RTX 3070

    There is a massive RAM leak at the end of loading that usually prevents me from loading into a map, and even if that succeds I get a crash after a few seconds:
    BeamNG.drive 0.30.0.0 0xC0000409 STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN

    Tried out Vulkan, and it doesn't work well... at least on my system...

    I tried using it (in safe mode), and when it does work, my FPS is usually lower than what I'd get without Vulkan. And what I mean by "when it works", is that anything that "reloads" the game (or maybe UI), completely destroys my FPS. For example, in Vulkan safe mode, I make sure to load into the map while in full screen, and I get around 45 - 55 FPS (Normally 60FPS without Vulkan). But when I press Alt + Enter, my FPS drops to 5 - 10 FPS. Going back to full-screen doesn't bring my FPS back up.

    Specs:
    Intel Core i5-9300H
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
    16 GB DDR4 RAM

    Loading into the map while in full screen:
    Screenshot16.png

    Just pressing "Options" (My FPS did not go back up after closing the menu):
    Screenshot17.png
    The same thing happens when I exit full screen...

    The beamng.log is full of "GFXVkDevice" and "GFXVkQueryOcclusion" errors... Not sure if this means anything...

    Thanks for the report it seems to be related to issues with memory management :(

    Please attach game log to your post so we can get more context :)

    Added to known issues, thanks :)

    Have you tried setting the lighting to lowest, because since the new update something gone wrong with the lighting engine, no matter if I use Vulkan or DX11 I can't get FPS above 10 I sit around 8 on average.

    I've tried low already, when I tried to set to lowest my game just crashed and it was rather late so didn't yet try further. I also haven't checked my fps outside of vulcan yet
