Vulkan API

    I've read a thread about the Vulkan API. And i want to ask if and when the Vulkan API is going to be in the game.

    I don't think the developers themselves know, though if they did, I doubt they'd give any sort of estimated time of arrival so as not to disappoint if it's delayed or cancelled.

    It is essentially a 3D rendering system/backbone. It can be compared to the likes of OpenGL and DirectX. From what I've seen, it seems very light on its feet, much more than DX12 even, and they are taking pride off of its CPU utilization. It is highly optimized.

    And another interesting thing is that unlike DirectX12 which is Windows 10 only, it's compatible with a lot of operating systems, even mobile ones.
