Yes the abovedoesn't say anything about being based on a specific car, but it's a developer comparing an in game car to a very similar IRL car. Yes, each vehicle as a whole have to represent an archtype, but design has to start somewhere and the engineering has to come from somewhere. I should have put more emphasis on the "mechanically" and less on the "visually" in my post, but my intent was just to say that we shouldn't automatically dismiss all "X is based off of Y" comments as suggested in the post I was responding to. The devs have stated that the Hopper and Sunburst are mechanically based on a single real life car. As for styling, they can't look at every single car within the target archtype to make it as generic as possible. They take styling cues from a number different cars and sometimes the end result looks closer to a single IRL car then others do. That doesn't mean they aren't based on specific IRL cars. Remember the forum fiasco when the SBR4, the only vehicle without any real life counterpart, was first showed? (To anyone who doesn't know what that was, research it, don't ask about it here). It's hard (understatement) to make a good car to fit in an IRL archtype without basing it on any specific examples. Then there are the I-Series Evo and race edition, which are clear references to specific Mercades vehicles (I hope the devs do more of that). I'm not saying the mod can't be called an ETK, I'm fine with that. Even if there wasn't a historical justification, it's a mod and I don't really care what it's called, only that the mod itself is good quality.
I don't really care for the name ETK Type one even though when I was the creator I named it that =) thats just what I think
dont care abou name, too, when it will be released, problably i would change the badges to vw 1300 ones anyway

Secretly he's ivan lochov. Anyway Why did you choose the Civetta JBeam? Parts are rather easy to add aren't they? (As long as you have them made of course.)
Will it have folkrace parts? Its one of the most popular folkrace cars afterall. I can get you pics as i actively go to see folkraces if you want
