    The worst scenario would be if It hit the devs. If they are forced to pay out money, I will buy enough copies of the game to pay them off.

    Make sure when doing that to disable the networking in the VM, since it may spread to your actual PC through network. That's how hospitals were affected, one PC had it and then it spread through the network.

    Exploits. Microsoft has released patches for this exploit long ago, but humankind has just proven to be lazy after so many people wouldn't install the update
    And, it's WanaCry, not WannaCry.

    Some websites a really slow since then, but i'm not the only one in my area who has this and security program say everything is fine and virusfree

    It's ransomware targeted at countries like Thailand, and Ukraine. You can avoid it by updating Windows to the latest version. The exploit has been patched and all you have to do is make sure you update Windows

    It attacks you and makes their computer have ransomware. You gotta pay 300 bucks in bitcoin and if you don't do it in 3 days, it doubles. It will delete all files after a week. All you have to do to get rid of it is stop not downloading updates.

    There's actually no way to decrypt your files unless you pay that sum of money
