200BX revamp underway ill give a little preview of what its gonna look like, past that: 1988-1990: -notchback USDM model with pignose bumper. equipped with either a 1.8 or 2.2 SOHC 4 cylinder (havent decided which yet). will have the same basic trims as the 1990-1994 models (regular 200BX) 1990-1994: -regular 200BX configs, and: -Type LS SR-TEC -Type LS SR-TEC Black Series -Type LS SR-TEC Tecnica -JDM "270BX" configs: -GS 2.7 -GSI 2.7 -GSR 2.7T 1995-1996: USDM "300BX" configs: Type-GT Type-GTs Type-GTz (the 300BX is a LWB, AWD optional 200BX created to compete with similar GT cars of the mid 90's. It has widened flares, a lightbar taillight, quad exhausts, and a fixed front headlight setup/redesign. Sold only in the US, and powertrain options ranged from a 220 HP 3.0 N/A V6 (RWD) to a 310 HP 3.0 Twin-Turbo V6 (AWD) with factory active aero.
its about 90% done as it stands, and its more of a 3000GT clone than anything. The drivetrain is situated like a Z32 but makes similar power to the 3000GT
Well originally i wanted the car to look something like this but sadly this didnt get much traction with the other devs:
Excited. This really is a game expansion. Btw i really like your prof pic. Like I said a million times my mom had an xt
Ikr. Screw all the other game updates for all the other big games with, like, 999 billion devs. All you need is BeamNG and WBIMP and boom you have the best game in the entire world.
Since it's the USDM model I'd prefer SOHC 2.2 engine, because 'muricans mostly liked and bought "big" engines. It would be more historically accurate and realistic to have that engine for the American market imo. It's just my opinion btw. Other than that, it looks really good! I'm really excited about the update!
It’s come to my attention recently that talk about this mods “lack of execution on great potential.” Yes we completely acknowledge this fact. Hence why both the 1980’s Moonhawk and the 200NX are slotted to be redone in a similar quality to the upcoming Saga. I’m reworked all configs top down, clean sweep of the entire board. This means pretty much every remnant of old low quality models and similar pieces of content will be redone or removed as I see fit. The mod will be shrinking in size but it is for the better (we’ve all seen the micron) This also means I’ll be making sure each new configuration makes sense theoretically and each part in the mod will be looked at and made right. (To the point where individual ECU’s will exist for individual trim levels.) It’s a big task but after some time in development and seeing some results, I think you guys will come to understand quality>quantity. And I want this mod to exude that fact. This will take a long while and expect certain cars to be much higher quality than others for some time as they get updated. this also means I will be addressing @Stoat Muldoon ’s extensive review of the very lackluster quality control. (The ping was intentional as I do want him to see this) Thanks for your time. And please, stop saying this is better than dev quality, people. Some of you have been and it’s not a good look especially when the development team for WBIMP starts garnering a less than great reputation because of the community surrounding this mod. So, yeah.
